The Arcade Fire is beautiful.
The Decemberists are pretty good from what I've heard. Elliot Smith too. And The Blood Brothers. I am DLing two or three of their albums, each.
LCD Soundsystem is kinda meh. I don't really like Head Automatica and that kinda shit.
And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead is good news too. I actually DLed a bunch of songs by them back in the day but deleted them for some reason.
I am dling most of the other shit right now.
Triple A

04-14-2005, 04:11 AM

Triple A
04-14-2005, 05:56 AM
The Good Life is amazing. Cursive rules. Those two instrumental bands rule. Gibbard's shit all rules. The Early November's side shit is pretty good from what I've heard.
I am still getting to everything else.

04-14-2005, 06:11 AM
The Good Life is fantastic yes. I told you about both the Good Life and Cursive AGES ago on AIM, and you gave me the old "I will d/l when I am in d/ling mood" shit.

El Capitano Gatisto

I was obsessed with listening to The Walkmen for a while there. What's In It For Me?, The Rat, No Christmas While I'm Talking, Little House of Savages, My Old Man and Thinking of a Dream I had are all gorgeous songs.
El Capitano Gatisto
04-15-2005, 04:10 PM
Also right now I am listening to Devendra Banhart a lot, but I do not think that is what you are looking for. Pure folky acoustic music, very simple.
Oh, try British Sea Power too:
Apologies To Insect Life
Favours In The Beetroot Fields
Something Wicked
Remember Me
Fear Of Drowning
Carrion
