List some wrestlers that you think wwe should recruit. There are so many amazing wrestlers out there that i think would really improve wwe shows and PPVs. Does anyone agree?

Ultimate Warrior.

Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake

But Seriously, They have enough talent they don't use already that could make the show that much better if they just gave the talent a chance...however I think there are too many great wrestlers out there in TNA and RoH that could help out

I think they should hire Michael Jackson and put the title on him.

Nothing says credibility like a celebrity with the belt.

AJ Styles
Sean O'Haire
Abyss

They have all that's needed on the roster already, but the bookers just don't know how to use them.

new bookers, writers, creative staff!

It wasn't long ago there were 5 constant main eventers on the ppv's( austin, kurt angle, rock, triple h, undertaker) but with the slpit of the shows it leaves us lacking.

WWE was naive and or idiots for thinking when rock and austin left they could just build up new guys the next day. It takes time and they forgot that.

I've just always thought he had the mic skills along with the talent to get over in the WWE.

Exactly. As much grief as TNA gets for not pushing AJ Styles enough, I think the bigger mistake was dropping the ball with The Fallen Angel.

KANYON.

Who betta?

NoRoolz
04-15-2005, 04:48 PM
Oh yeah, Matt Hardy needs to be re-signed, and Daniels would be nice, also Petey Williams could really add to the Cruiserweight division. But signing all these guys would mean more roster cuts, and the guys who get cut will undoubtedly be good, and people like Heidenreich and Hardcore Holly will remain until the fat lady sings.

Precisely old chum!

I think Kanyon would be an excellent addition to the US title scene on Smackdown. Heck, since the US title scene is basically non-existant he could BE the scene.

It doesn't matter who they sign at this point.

They don't really need to sign anyone, they have the largest wrestling roster in the entire world and they continuously fuck up with everyone that they have there. They dropped the ball most recently on Matt Hardy, who could have easily returned and finally made a jump right up to main event status.

It doesn't matter who you sign if you're not going to do anything with them.

But, on a related note, since the thread is about it - when WWE had Reckless Youth under contract in 1997, they should've called him up to RAW. If he had been around back then, by now he'd have been main event material, and would be one of the most over heels that they'd seen in a long, long time.

KayfabeMan

Again though, only if they used him right.

I doubt that. They only push who they like and if Reckless was so hot, WCW would have snapped him up.

D'Lo Brown.

Wasn't the greatest wrestler, but he had charisma....and was way over with the fans. If the WWE weren't full of morons (like tpww for instance), then perhaps they would've utilized D'Lo better.

Matt Hardy deserved better as well. With smart booking, Goldberg could have also been useful.

Teddy Hart, TJ Wilson and Harry Smith. New Foundation V2

Just to add, if you wanna improve the womens division, Natalie Neidhart, and even though I find him to be spotty, Jack Evans.
Hart Foundation lives on.

Nattie Neidhart will definately be in the Fed some day. I'm not too sold on Jack Evans though. Dude needs to put on some weight.

Sabu - God imagine how much better WWE would be with him. If he was main eventing PPvs then i guarantee everyone would order them. I can just imagine a 'we want tables' chant starting back again and ladder, cage, hardcore matches would be brought to a whole new level. He would do shit the wwe fans have NEVER seen.

Look man, I'm probably the biggest ECW mutant on the board. Have fuckin boxes full of tapes from the shows, have drove to the arena (from NC) to watch the show and have tons of shirts, and I KNOW Sabu was over in ECW but I'm sorry. SABU ABSOLUTELY SUCKS. Just like New Jack and Balls.

I'd have to disagree. I love sabu's style. WWE need someone like him. Fans love hardcore wrestling. WWE needs a hardcore championship again.

No Sabu is shit. And he doesn't do "hardcore wrestling", guys like Raven, Terry Funk, Taz, Masato Tanaka, Mick Foley, and Super Crazy did hardcore wrestling. Guys like Sabu, and New Jack just did hardcore stupidity and fell from high places. The word "wrestling" has never, and should never be assosciated with them.

I doubt that. They only push who they like and if Reckless was so hot, WCW would have snapped him up.

WCW rarely considered indy talents at the time, and pretty much kept that up right on through their closure. A few guys got lucky enough to break into the promotion through being noticed on the indy scene, but that was here & there.

They were also hot on scooping up most guys from Mexico back then, as well as anyone leaving planet McMahon - so as far as WCW went, it was basically out of the question.

ECW tried again and again to snap him up, and he would've been huge there - as that is what they already had laid out for him, but they didn't spend $$ on their guys back then, and expected people to work full schedules for free.

KayfabeMan

Also, on the note about them pushing him, that's why I included "Again though, only if they used him right" in my next post. I understand the politics of their booking process and all that crap, so I get your point - I just didn't want you to think that I meant it'd be a certainty (since they always have a habit of never using anyone correctly).

Sabu isn't shit. Yes, all those wrestlers you mentioned would be considered hardcore but sabu is up there with them. He didn't just fall from high places, he *dived* from high places. One of the best high-flyers to ever grace a wrestling ring.

One of the best high-flyers to ever grace a wrestling ring.Since when is intentially landing on your fuckin head (and as result breaking your neck) considered grace. You want grace in a high flyer, I give you the Ultimo Dragon, I give you AJ Styles, The Amazing Red, Christopher Fuckin Daniels. In Sabu all you have is a man who has landed on his head so many times and as result has lost far to many brain cells to realise that doing so, is fuckin stupid. Sabu was over, I'll give you that. But hell, Britney Spears sells millions of cds, are you going to try and convince me that constituates talent too? Frankly is the hundreds of ECW tapes I have, I can think of more spots Sabu fucked up (on accident) than he landed correctly a(and just for the sake of giving you a chance, I'm couting him landing on his head "correct").

That's a little harsh man. Not that I don't partially agree, but Sabu CAN wrestle. It's just that the aerial moves into the second row is what made him so famous, why go against the grain? New Jack on the other hand, I totally agree with. He was a high spot guy, I don't think I've ever seen him do any kind of wrestling move ever.

They don't need to hire anybody at the moment. If anything, they need to get rid of the dead weight in the company and use the talent that they have.

KayfabeMan
04-18-2005, 02:18 AM
Sabu even trying to wrestle is a joke.

The guy can not wrestle, as he has no ability to actually do so - and even if he somehow learned, he still would lack the psychology necessary to do it. He is just totally all-around horrible.
