If he does, the ratings will drop massively. I certainly wont watch it.

Do you really want to see another Raw start with an HHH promo talking about how he's the best? Mind you, it'll happen anyway..

If he does, it'll prove that HHH doesn't mind losing the title as long as he can get it back in a month.
If he does, it'll prove that HHH doesn't mind losing the title as long as he can <s>get it back in a month</s> beat Ric Flair's record.

No, but like you said, Batista winning won't change that.

I actually think they might do something like that. I can see Randy Orton running out and hitting the RKO on Batista costing him the match, but then Batista kicking Triple H's ass and "injuring" him for a while.
Bischoff then comes out and says since it was a screwjob, and Triple H doesn't seem fit to take the title, Batista is still World Heavyweight Champion.
This is then grounds for the rumoured Hell in a Cell Match at Bad Blood, where Triple H forfeits to Batista after about 30 minutes straight of squash-like action (Triple H and Batista go back and forth for a bit, but then Batista exploits the "injury" of Triple H and takes control but refuses to pin Batista until Triple H says he quits).

That would be intensely stupid. They've been giving Batista a buildup since Survivor Series, and it would be insane to have him lose the belt a month after winning. They did it with Orton because he flopped as a face. Batista on the other hand, is much hotter than Orton was with his run.
And you know HHH is going to break Flair's record anyway. He just has to win the belt twice a year, and he's there in three years.

I heard there's no Bad Blood this year, it's been replaced by the ECW PPV.
Or am I late in news? :-\

They only did it because he was intended to be a placekeeper.
That way, Triple H didn't get shit for Benoit jobbing it back to him.

Nope, Batista kicks out of the pedigree and hits the Batista bomb for the win. Thus making the Animal seem invincible.

The ECW PPV will replace Bad Blood, so Vengeance is moving from July to June to be the Raw PPV, which means the Smackdown PPV will be in July and will be......The Great American Bash.

Triple H will win in the Hell in a Cell match. Then he'll hold onto it for another 3-6 months, drop it to someone, win it back 3 months later and this process will continue until he wins the belt 25 times.

Nope, because they will be building up Edge after Batista beats HHH again.

I would say no he shouldn't lose.
But if they want to have HHH-Batista part 3, then I think he almost has to lose.
I guess they could do a DQ finish, with Hunter winning, and then say they are 1 and 1, which would get them to the 3rd match in June.
Personally, I think they should just end the program at Backlash with the finish mentioned above. Batista kicks out of the Pedigree and hits the Batista Bomb for the win.
Batista wins at Backlash, Triple H wins some number one contender shit in between 'Lash and Bad Blood, then regains the World Title in the Hell in a Cell.
That's what will probably happen, although I hope Triple H wins at Backlash because Batista isn't doing anything for me as champ and I can't wait to see who they have next in store for Triple H to feud with, seeing as they've basically wasted the whole of RAW's upper-tier faces.

I highly doubt it. Then again you never know with the wwe. It also has to be taken in account Batista is huge and we all know about Vince's fetish.

LIke I said, if HHH loses again, there's no logical way he can get back in the World title mix right away.
My guess is that with the Hogan match at Backlash, they will put that on last and have a DQ finish in the title match.
The way I would get the World Title off Batista is if they do in fact go with the HIAC match for June, I would have Batista win, and then after the match have Edge run down with a contract and a ref, do a couple of spots, and pin Batista.
Edge would be the champ, and you can have Batista chase Edge into Summerslam.

Batista needs to stay champ and be champ for a good long while.

Weve been down this road before-the WWE doesn't deal with logic, HHH will be in the title scene no matter what for the next 5 years atleast.

Oh I know that, but I'm just saying that from the standpoint of building up a PPV, its hard to make a challenger seem credible if he's lost to the champ two times in a row.
Obviously HHH will get the title back at some point.
Londoner

Yeah, but given HHH's record, he could still count them both as 'lucky' wins for Batista, which would bury Batista.Especially when he gets the title back, on say like the 3rd time round or something, then unless Batista wins it back straight after, then Batista is finished.

True, but he can't if they book it that way.

They could probably explain Batista vs. Triple H in Hell in a Cell by having Triple H do something really personal to Batista, to make Batista WANT to face Triple H again.
From there I'd either do the Edge thing CyNick suggesed, with Edge running down and pinning Batista after the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, or have Batista absolutely kick Triple H's ass, then have Triple H literally just give up in the middle of Batista's beating.

I sure fucking hope Batista is allowed to have a long title run.
