View Full Version : An idea for Backlash...

How about if WWE rips off WCW's nWo idea? I'm sure others have thought the same here, and I think a few have posted (not sure). Anyhow, have Hogan "injured" earlier in the PPV...so it's just HBK vs. Hassan/Daivari. HBK is getting manhandled, then just like nWo Hogan, Hogan comes out...crowd cheers...and he drops the leg on Michaels. He joins with Hassan/Daivari, and talks about how American foreign policy is bullcrap, and that Hassan is a victim of racism in today's era.

It would be a complete repeat of what happened with nWo, but it'd certainly be great. Hell, they repeated the screwjob one too many times in both WWE and WCW.

...I guess the idea was a piece of shit.

I mean, it seemed great at least... :o :(

It would have worked if it happened 10 years ago. Hogan is just too fucking old now.

No repeats!!!!!!!!

But, it could work, if it would be diffrent. If they would not take over everything and all. I like the idea, as long as Hogan does NOT stay on t.v. to wrestle.

I was actually thinking about something like this, but with Hogan just turning on HBK and then cutting a promo about Hassan and Daivari being Real Americans, and that we shouldn't convict them because of their beliefs. You could leave it there, or have Hassan and Daivari then attack Hogan and leave him in a pool of his own blood just for he sake of it.

I'm also all for the idea of Hogan just being too old to go against Hassan and Daivari, and having him submit cleanly to the Camel Clutch. HBK then looks a but upset in the ring that he's been beaten by Hassan and Daivari again, while Hogan's stuggling to get up apologising to HBK when WHAM! Sweet Chin Music to the unsuspecting Hulk Hogan. With Batista vs. Triple H in a Hell in a Cell Match, and HBK vs. Hulk Hogan in a singles match, you'd be on your way to a must-buy Bad Blood. I wouldn't mind it if they had the Shawn Michaels vs. Hulk Hogan blowoff on a SmackDown! event like The Great American Bash, though (after the redraft).

But anyway, I'm fairly certain HBK and Hogan will be winning at Backlash. I just can't see Hogan coming back only to lose to a young heel and his manager, and sadly I don't see HBK wanting to job either, especially with his loss at Mania, and the fact that this teaming with Hogan is a "dream come true" for Michaels. At best I think we can hope for Hassan and Daivari to lose by disqualification.

well if they had the <s>brooklyn</s> bostin Brawler turn, and don't forget hogan would probably like as much T.V time as possible.

I also thought, when you go to the HoF, arn't you suppose to be retired?

One would hope.

Sgt. Slaughter is in the WWE HOF and he's wrestled twice since then.

He wrestled with Rhyno in a tag team title match against La Resistance, and he just recently wrestled Hassan.
