Does anyone else watch this? I can't friggin stand reality shows AT ALL. I've never liked Survivor or Fear Factor or anything else like that, but I find myself becoming slightly addicted to this show.
When I first heard about it, I thought it was going to be complete crap. Maybe it was because of Sylvester Stallone, but either way, I decided to check it out and it was great. There have been some really good fights on there.

A hugely underrated show with low ratings due to Extreme Makeover and CSI. I wish it would be put on at a diefferent time.
PS Gomez to win the whole thing.

Ive Watched it since bout the 2nd or 3rd week and also have become very addicted to it. This is truely a reality show, unlike some who try to be "real" when its just the same stupid stuff every week.
I would recommend viewing of this to anyone.

I'm stuck between Gomez and Sergio. Both have impressed me.

Yeah, the only thing that annoys me is when the dub Sugar Ray's voice during the challenges. Great show though.

Yeah, been watching it over here in the UK, they have put it on at a really shitty time though on Friday night :nono: Not sure how far behind we are, but they have just shown the episode where Tony picked Brent instead of the other guy, and completly destroyed him. I got really pissed at Tony when he done that

Started watching it last week and it is a pretty good show. Won't be watching it next week due to Backlash

Yeh same.
I think we're 2 episodes behind, judging from what I've seen one the website. Also, its first shown on ITV2 at 8pm on mondays, then they repeat it a couple more times during the week on both ITV1 and 2.

I hate that guy. It's commendable that he is willing to do whatever it takes to win for his kids, but he has absolutely zero honor while trying to do so.
I did a bit of research and that espisode was episode #6. We've just seen episode #10 here in the states last night. Wait until you see that one, Tony's karma catches up to him. However, in the end he gets off the hook because of Peter, he thanks Peter and then proceeds to say, "But if the roles were reversed. I wouldn't of been so nice". This guy is a total douche.

Yeah I've been singing the praises of this show for sometime. I missed an episode or parts of one, because Ahmed Abdoui (or whatever) was back, Gomez beat him, but I don't know how come Ahmed was back. I hated that guys attitude and dirty style in the ring. Glad he lost, AGAIN.

He was voted back in because Juan De La Rosa had to quit because of injuries. They voted him back in because they thought he had a good shot at beating Ishe Smith because of their previous bout(they other fighters perceived Ishe as the best fighter there).Smith of course ended up losing to Sergio.

I watched an episode of it, but I got really frustrated with the fact that the fights are edited. I know they don't have enough time to show an entire boxing match, but I guess I got spoiled on The Ultimate Fighter. I like being able to see the whole fight and make up my own mind, I don't think you can make a fair decision about fight without seeing every single punch that was thrown.

Totally agree. That's the only real thing that bugs me about the show. I thought that Sly and Sugar Ray were going to hog the spotlight, but they are only in the show for about a total of 5 minutes, the rest of the show is actually about the boxers.
But yeah, only seeing 6-8 minutes of a proposed 15 minute fight kind of sucks. I was actually curious if they would have the fights in their entirety if they released it on DVD.
On a upside note, the finale is going to be live, so that means we get to see the whole fight :D

That's the show's downfall I suppose. But my wife was watching it with me last night, and she was really into it, edits and all.

My Fiancee loves it too. I made a comment about he length of the fights because of the editing, it doesn't seem to phase her at all either.

If they release a DVD with the full fights, I'll watch it for sure.

I love this programme being over here in the UK, i don't have to wait till friday atleast since i have ITV2, just saw todays episode which they've moved from 9 to 8 pm which is good of them, dunno why its on so late on itv1 though?
This is by far the best reality tv show, and is the only one to truly live up to the name 'reality'. Shame about the guy who killed himself, i was shocked when i saw that. Especially when he was talking about 'greatness being ahead of him'.
I really want someone to knock out Tony though, and i want Alfonso to win it, but i got a feeling Peter might.

Damnit. Thanks for that info...not!This kinda seems like Watching wrestling with all these twists and turns...wanted Juan to go far in the tournament.

So did I, and I thought he would, he willingly quit though. The doctor told him he had some injuries that could heal soon. He said, "No, I'm not a fast healer, I'm not risking it". I undertsand that, but if you are a boxer and get a very small cut under your eye, and you are complaining about that, perhaps it's time to pick a new profession. Gomez took a much worse beating this week, and he was immediately saying that it was all worth it.
I don't know, Juan just seemed to not want to be there. I don't think his heart is really into boxing.

I think he was doing it for his grandfather more than actually wanting to win the thing, remember he's only 18.

Spoiler for the UKers!!
Man, Joey and Peter had a great fight. Probably the best fight I have seen on there thus far. They both won 2 rounds each, and it came down to the last round. Sucked the way that it ended, they were both firing back and forth in the 5th.
Well, only one fight left in this round of competition... Anthony and Jesse. I wouldn't be surprised if Anthony was faking the hamstring injury the whole time. It certainly seemed that way from the "Next week, on contender" promo. I really hope that guy doesn't win.

They just showed the Joey/Peter fight, my god it was great. I think if Joey didn't get that headbutt then he might of actually won at the rate he was going. I feel abit sorry for Peter, his dad seems like a dick. DONT GIVE HIM ANY WATER.....Ok now you can!

Wait until you see Peter and Alfonso go at it. They had another war. The finale was on tonight here in the states, it was a pretty one sided fight to crown the champion, but good none-the-less.

Just watched the Jesse vs Anthony episode, god I'm glad Tony got his ass knocked out. I hate that guy so. I'll admit though that Jesse was lucky to win it, but when Tony hit the mat I was really pleased. Bring on the semi's.

Just seen the final, was a good fight. I'm glad Sergio won it, thought it was pretty funny when he was taunting the Manfredo corner. Also laughed my head off when you could see Hulk Hogan in the crowd for some reason.
I'm not sure why Peter thought he had won when they were about to announce the winner, he got his ass pounded, stupid dick.
Cant wait for the dvd.
