At tonight's TNA Impact! tapings, it will be announced that former UFC Light Heavyweight champion "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Tito Ortiz will be the special guest referee for the Jeff Jarrett vs. A.J. Styles match at the Hard Justice pay-per view.

The entire card will have to be made clear tonight, since they tape three weeks worth of shows in a single night, but it's believed that there will be some sort of gauntlet style match. Tito Ortiz is a big pro wrestling fan and has been in negotiations with WWE in the past, and is good friends with several pro wrestlers including Bill Goldberg and Rey Mysterio.

Chris Candido did have surgery yesterday for the two broken bones suffered in his leg during the Lockdown pay-per view. He will be working tonight's Impact! tapings, probably from a wheelchair, as a manager until he heals. He'll also be doing TNA Xplosion commentary. He is still scheduled to work the June 10th ECW reunion show promoted by Shane Douglas in Philadelphia as well.

They didn't show the Lita interview last night on RAW in the live audience. They originally cut to the interview segment, it was immediately boo'd heavily, and very shortly after that they cut off the picture. As loud as the crowd came off on television, especially during the Matt Hardy related chants, it was said to be noticably louder in the building itself.

Tito Ortiz is pas tth point of being even mildly popular. But reading the TNA taping results tomorrow should beinteresting, if only to see whihc direction they go after LOCKDOWN!

And the Lita stuff is just funny.

Yeah, saw about 3 seconds of the interview while there.
Watching it earlier it was like they'd turned the crowd down for television.

I read in a interview with Matt Hardy that he loves the reaction Lita is getting right now. He hopes that just like the fans keep the Vince/Hart Screwjob incident chants going on that they keep the Lita chants to.

Tito going to TNA might be pretty interesting. I bet he plays a role in AJ winning the belt off of JJ.

I actually liked Lita also, but after this whole deal, I'm not so much of a fan anymore.

But you see WWE, maybe an internet petition with more than 18,000 signatures on it doesn't get your attention. But when your live crowds are chanting "We Want Matt", don't you think you made a mistake now?

Okay, what the fuck?

You liked Lita, but you hate her now because of some backstage politics? Dude, that's fucking stupid.

Lita didn't actually do anything wrong except being a botch machine (Half woman, half botch), Amy Dumas is the one who did something wrong. Hate the character for the character's flaws. There are enough to begin with.

Lita is good looking compared to, say,the homely girls that work at the Burger King, but she's subpar when compared to the other divas.

She's horrible on the mic or in backstage segments or pretty much whenever she talks.

And she's as likely to kil you as hit any of her high-spot type moves. Or put it this way: with roughly half the amount of experience, Trish is light-years ahead of her in the ring.

Other than that, Lita is great.
