Share your love of the Sooners here. The greatest college football program in the Nation.

Where do I start? I breathe live and die by the Sooners. Besides my undying passion for one texas rattlesnake, there is nothing else I love more than this great football team.

Let's hope for great success in the upcoming season.

JR.

How about an immediate national title contender having two of their guards transfer?

Texas is going to finally beat them this year in football

Yeah I think you're right. I think it was SI's preseason 25 that had them at #2. Maybe a slot or two high but by seasons end they may be up their with USC.

Vince Young for Heisman?

The man is a crazy player, I'll give him that much. I guess we'll see.

I could see Vince Young not living up to expectations, he really got a tonn of hype after that Rose Bowl game. Also, OU lost some good guys but they still have their best player.

Was looking through the forum a few pages back. Somebody predicted the Miami Dolphins where going to pick Kyle Orton with the 1st pick in the draft.

So that just shows you how much things change over time - right now I would say Young has a shot. Lienhart is there obviously. I just think Texas is finally going to win but you never know.

We will beat Texas when they come here next fall, I can feel it.

WoW ! No one mention Adrian Peterson. That guy looks like Eric Dickerson. I'm curious... Whats Texas got to stop AP?

Aaron Harris, Tim Crowder, Michael Huff, pretty much the same people that didn't let him score the last time they played.

How's that passing game shaping up? Might have some difficulty replacing a Heisman winner and 3 WR's who got drafted.

I don't think losing White is the biggest problem, althought I have heard the guys they had going in the spring game all looked very shaky.

USC and Miami national championship (I don't know where I got Miami, but it could be a decent guess?)

Miami will always be a decent guess, BCWWF

Wright from Miami will have a monster year. Starting at QB next season.

I base this off the fact that he wears a visor - QBs that wear visors do work

Nah just kidding, He is sick regardless - visor or not.

Back to OU/Texas. How is Texas going to stop Peterson? How is Oklahoma going to stop Vince Young? It goes both ways. Texas NEEDS to win this game, they can't keep losing their home state recruits to the Sooners over this game.

Indeed, as a high school football player in Texas, almost everybody on our team would rather go to OU that Texas.

I think that if I was in Texas, regardless I would want to go to Texas
