Well, if you're going, I have some great advice for you.

If you EVER get the chance, ask to work with Hardcore Holly. Everyone says that he's easily to get along with, kind, compassionate, and will ALWAYS be willing to lend a hand for those who haven't paid their dues yet.

I have heard that too. Hardcore Holly is very underrated.

Grow four inches and pack on 80 pounds.
Introduce your girlfriend to Adam Copeland.
Agree to disagree with Sgt. Slaughter.
Live your character (especially if you play a cocky gimmick) around the veterans.
Two words: Crazy spots.
Continue posting here and relay what you read (AND POST!) to Mr. McMahon.

Take some steroids and get real big and do some clumsy power moves that injure everybody. You'd not only get into OVW, but you'd be brought up to RAW in no time.

Spit in Triple H's face. They say that if new guys do that, you'll be a star in no time. Just ask Stevie Richards and Chris Jericho!

So many things wrong with this...You say your going in a year like they are just sitting around waiting for you to show up. WRONG. Your too small (about the right height but fucking pack on more weight). WWE talent scouts look for you and ask you to come to OVW, and they don't wait a year for you to say yes. I smell a load of bullshit. BUT if by some freak chance you actually are going here is my advice...

1) Go to Mexico
2) Go to Japan
3) Go to Canada
4) Go away from OVW
5) Stay away from OVW
6) OVW is the devil
7) OVW doesn't train you for shit
8) You will get a push out the door but then will get dropped
9) Try making a living in some other promotion
10) Most OVW "superstars" don't get more then one or two try outs and then your done
11) Even if your as talented as Nova, you will get a shitty gimmick IF you make it to WWE (save Brock Lesnar)
12) Go establish yourself around the world, pay some dues, don't take the fast track, and for the love of god...PUT ON SOME DAMN WEIGHT!

Batista, Cena and Orton all came from OVW, so it can't be all bad.

Also, when asked to do a stupid, degrading gimmick, remember. Even triple h took one for the team when he fucked a corpse.

Batista has been more then open about the fact that OVW did shit to train him for once he got there (WWE). Cena made it big because he is a real life rhymer...and Orton wasn't shit until he was picked up by Evolution...lucky break storyline wise.

Yeah, people attacked Batista for his openness, claiming he was full of himself and all this shit.

Cena was crap til they ran with the whole "wigger" deal.

Fact is, three members of OVW making it to varying degrees of success means very little.

work for someone other than a WWE owned farm.

get some understanding of how the business actually works.

go to a decent school run by someone with a history of turning out quality athletes. Adrian Street's school is both inexpensive and high quality.

Learn that there is more to the business than the McMahons.

WHATEVER YOU DO, don't use a moveset that consists of hammerlock, german suplex, dropkick and not much else. This has been the fate of too many OVW grads.

Yeah, I'm gonna move out to Kentucky later in the year to go to OVW. I've heard to many bad things about the local school I was going to go to.

I'll actually probably go ahead and get some tickets to Raw and try breaking out of the Masterlock though. That's a much better idea than going through all that training and shit. I JUST HOPE HE PICKS ME!

Yes, but I doubt this guy won any gold medals at the olympics with a broken freaking neck, mind you.

Take One's advice, but add a stop in England to your "tour"
The British style is SEVERLY underrated and will teach you some great techniques you won't find in Mexico, or Japan.
