That's what I don't get. It's like this is some sort of revelation that OMG PPL DIE!

You know what? Even wrestlers die. Even legendary wrestlers. One day Hogan, Hart, Flair, Taker, Angle, and so on and so forth will ALL die, and if wrestlers dying makes wrestling pointless, then it's been pointless since its inception.

you know what though, I'd rather he quit then be nervous and risk injuring himself or someone else.

I don't think he'll actually quit. I think it's more of a 'shock moment' type thing - where you blurt out whatever comes to mind. Obviously he's not a man of many words by his 'statement', so I'm sure it was just a passing remark without any consequences.

He'll be back. They always come back. :nono:

He isn't quitting, He was just speaking out of anger. He worked a double shot this weekend for IWC and was mentioned in this weekend's ROH Newswire.

You know, before I only seen pictures of CM Punk and thought he was retarded, and now that I read that, I know he is retarded.

But Candido was still cool.

Kayfabe Man said it best: He'll be back. They always come back.

If everyone who was nervous about causing an injury to another while wrestling decided to leave, then there would be no wrestlers. For god sakes, people get injured just by walking to the ring! In many ways it is a foolish decision, as he will be back, no doubt about that.

Uhhhh....I have read it a couple times now (short read I can do it :p) and I don't think he was saying he quits the business. Often times when I am upset I say I quit...it might be that I don't have cheese for a sandwich and I still say I Quit...maybe it's a midwest thing. Anyway I don't think Punk is leaving the industry...just my take on it though.

It's not a midwest thing. It's a pussy thing. Grow a set, FFS.

Sounds like a fake, actually. There's nothing on Rajah about this (I'm sure they would say something, even though I know how we ALL feel about Rajah and their pop-up hell site). I have to believe that this is nothing more than a bogus story to me.

Not to mention the lack of mention on RoH

It's on his LiveJournal (http://www.livejournal.com/users/cmpunk/). Will that suffice?

I have to agree with other people, it probably was a spurt of the moment comment. I'll ramble on some more with my thoughts, but I'm too pooped to really say anything other than what I've said.
