The Patriots released nose tackle Keith Traylor (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=1487) on Wednesday, giving last year's first-round draft pick Vince Wilfork (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6780) a chance for more playing time. Traylor started 10 regular-season games in his only year with the Patriots. He was a restricted free agent when he signed with them on March 31, 2004.

Traylor, 35, had spent the previous three seasons with the Chicago Bears (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=chi). In 13 NFL seasons, he's been with six teams after being drafted by Denver in the third round in 1991 as a linebacker.

:wtf:

A linebacker?

Ahahahahaha.

So? He gained a lot of weight. Wilfork is a beast though, hopefully he gets a chance to lay somebody next year though. Like back in his Miami days when he would bust threw the line and swallow the running back before he could even get going

If you saw my posts over at Rajah's, I was begging the Vikings to draft Wilfork, even two years ago when he was a Junior and almost declared in the "DT draft," but stuck with it due to a promise to his dead mom :'(

So he dropped to the Vikings and who did we pick? Udeze  Okay, so I like him, too, but Wilfork has shown nothing but the ability to be the best pure Nose tackle to come out since, well, Casey Hampton I guess, if he's not better than that. Lining up Wilfork and K-Dub in the middle would have been absolutely devastating. Love that motherfucker.

But seriously, to go from linebacker to 3-4 NT is nuts. I mean yeah there have been some big linebackers, but I can't imagine gaining 50 pounds or more to be a NT. DE maybe. Dunno.

But yea, Wilfork

Not really on topic, but a guy I know had a lot of free time apparently so he made college all-star rosters, like put everybody in the NFL who went to Miami etc. He did like six teams, but some of them are pretty sick, Miami, Georgia, Tennessee. Ill see if I can get them.
