You know the drill...I'm sorry...just don't expect these often I guess! Mania was awesome! You should know what happened by now. I've become an active wrestler in the WWE roster it seems. I hope I haven't disappointed anyone yet. Now I'm gonna tell you a quick horror story about myself in Europe.

Chris Benoit and Rob Conway warm up before the matches by doing free standing Hindu squats. They usually do about 500 a piece. It took them some time to build up to that many. The average person can do about 20 before cramping up. Someone in decent shape can do about 75-100.

I wanted to give it a try so I went for it and I did about 400...the last 75 were total crap with me using every ounce of my existence to get back up so I'll say 325.

The next day I couldn't even walk! I was so sore and tense in my legs that I couldn't bend my knees past 45 degrees, and as the day went on my range of motion got less and less.

Two days later was RAW and I couldn't even bend my legs at all! Don't ask me how, because I don't know, but adrenaline is a crazy thing and I ended up working a tag match which you saw on TV. I hobbled back to the locker room and took a piss and to my amazement it was red. The next day I was in even more pain and sick as hell. I puked about 5 times. I was managing
Mohammad and got through another day.

Came back to the locker room and my pee was blackish-brown. Like Dr. Pepper. Gave a sample to the doctor and he ran some tests on it and got back to me the next day turns out the red then eventually black was the actual muscle fiber in my legs! They had been broken down so much they traveled into my blood stream got to my kidneys and I ended up pissing it out. That's why i was so sick. Now I feel better after a couple days, just legs are really sore. And that was my trip to Europe!

:(

Ow. I peed dark red for a few days after I had a stent put into my left kidney tube (ureter) after having kidney stones removed. Take that.

ROFLMAO!!! Ouchers!

But it sounds like Daivari's okay if he's posting about it with such a "haha that was stupidly funny" tone.

Daivari is awesome. And it goes to show why Benoit is da man. And Conway too, apparently.

I too would like to know what a free standing Hindu squat is.

You know...the "shitting Superman" deal where you squat up and down, repeatedly. Free-standing meaning you don't use anything to hold your balance.

And as you can see, it works tons o' muscles:

</> Free Standing Squats (quadriceps/hamstrings)

Free standing squats can be done with the arms folded across the chest. Definitely go below parallel as the lack of weight will enable this, provided correct squatting form is used. Since squatting is probably the number one exercise of them all, it should be included when is unable to train in the gym.

Aim for many repetitions (100+) to increase stamina and maintain size. A variation on free-standing squats are Hindu squats. To perform, stand upright and keep hands to the side. Raise heels off the ground during descent, and touch backside to calves. Then, explode up while swinging arms forward.

Once there pull arms back to side. Hindu squats tend to target upper body more than free-standing squats. If only one exercise could be chosen for a work-out this would probably be it. For both free-standing, and Hindu squats, ensure that a deep breath is taken upon descent and expire during ascent.

Credit to www.stadion.com (http://www.stadion.com):

Start standing up, back straight, head up, chest up, feet hip-width apart. Feet point forward or slightly out — whatever feels good on the knees. Reach forward with your arms and then pull back as in a rowing motion until your fists are even with your chest. As you pull your arms back, inhale. Start to exhale and squat down letting your arms fall behind your hips. As you squat your heels raise off the floor so you are squatting on the balls of your feet. Squat as low as you can but do not bounce at the bottom. Rise up, simultaneously reaching forward with your arms as you inhale. The breathing pattern is opposite that of standard squats (without those rowing arm movements) and squats with weights. Throughout the whole squat keep your back straight. Repeat the cycle.

When they are saying 'free-standing', I assume they mean they aren't using a barbell or any weights to add resistance.
