That guy was awesome. I only saw a bit of his WWE work, and that alone was enough to make me a fan of his.
Anyway, I know he got injured and then he left the WWE, but what has he been doing since then? I might recall something about him happily stepping out of the ring, but damn would I like to see him come back.
Chris Kanyon vs. Shelton Benjamin might just be the most innovative match in wrestling history if it happened.

I wish I knew what happened to him, his Invasion MVP gimmick was excellent.

Kanyon was the man. I'm still a big Kanyon fan. They could have done so much more with him in the WWE.
Innovator of Offense.

I wish the WWE would go out of their way to re-sign him. Shelton Benjamin vs. Kanyon could be one of the most innovative matches of all time.

You should try to find some of his WCW matches if you're pretty new to him. At least in WCW he got some god damn matches.

I saw his match versus Perry Saturn at the Great American Bash(1998) live and it was pretty damn good.

Kanyon has always been one of my favourites.
He's great in-ring and has had some great gimmicks. I was happy when WWE picked him up after buying WCW.
I always thought a Kanyon/Jericho team would be awesome.

Yeah, Kanyon kinda flat out disappeared.
I spoke to a few guys who worked with Kanyon a lot back around the time he said he was leaving the business, and at that point they hadn't heard from him in a while - & still haven't. Strange that he'd cut himself off from a lot of the people he was friends with, and also strange that he wouldn't at least work the Wrestle Reunion convention deals, which are promoted by DDP.
Last I remember him, he was doing a masked gimmick, where he revealed himself - which lead into another angle. Then did a shot or two with CSWF, where they whole masked gimmick may have been as well, and wrestled his 'retirement' match with DDP on one of their shows. I have no freaking clue what happened to him, but it'd have been nice of him to let everyone know what's up.

Also, to clarify my first sentence of the first paragraph there - which I now realize is confusing - I spoke to the guys around the time that he said he was retiring. They'd worked with him for a long while, not just around the time that he said he was retiring, which was the way I made it sound :(

Last time I heard he was still trying to recover from that horrible cut on this arm.

Last time I heard he was still trying to recover from that horrible cut on this arm.
I saw a picture of the guy holding a dollar note up against his arm to get perspective on how big that hole was.
Not joking, but it's one of the sickest cuts/gashes/unusual body holes i've ever seen
