I tried to get tickets for the show in Ottawa. The online system to purchase tickets crashed as it was not up to speed to handle the traffic. People who lined up were more successful than those trying to purchase tickets online. Totally pissed me off as I haven't seen them yet.

I may consider purchasing from a scalper when the concert date comes a little closer. Our show is in November.

Have fun at the show you lucky bastard. I mean that in a nicest possible way.

i just got back to the hotel from the concert and all I can say is that it was awsome...their music is definately beter appreciated live.

At least U2 have been doing their political shit throughout their careers. I have no respect for bands that pretend to be political or jump on bandwagons just because it is the charity of the day. Sure they are doing some good and I will never take that away from them, but they reek of insincerity.

Anyone remember the Tibet Freedom concert? How come they are still not taking place? Tibet is still far from a free society.

I'm not saying I support U2's causes, but I at least respect them for being consistent. I personally would like a little more Sex, Drugs and Rock'n'Roll in my music without the appologies.

U2 is terrible. I wouldn't go to one of their shows if someone gave me a ticket and provided a ride for me. It's about 2 hrs of my life that i'd never get back.
