*If you live near both a Meijer store and a Blockbuster. here's what you do:
1. Go to Meijer and pick up 2 copies of KOF: Maximum Impact. Meijer is currently selling the game for $10.
2. Open them up and head for Blockbuster (must have a Gamerush)
3. Trade them in. They are worth $25 in credit each.
Now, the trick is that Blockbuster currently has a deal where if you trade in two games, you get any new release or preorder for only $30. Since two copies of KOF were traded in, you get $50 in credit. And since it counted as two games, you get a preorder for $30. 30-50=20, so you get left with $20 of in-store credit.
So there you have it; I've heard lots of people do it for Zelda especially ;)
Oh, and if they ask, just tell them you got the second copy of KOF as a gift.

Holy shit, In Lansing, my apartment is near a Meijer and a Blockbuster. Too bad I'm back home in Canada.
Damn it, there are none even remotely close to the North East. :(

Heh, I used to do a similar thing with GAMEs 4 used games for a brand new one.
I just went to one store, bought 4 second hand games for about a fiver each and then traded them in at GAME for a new game saving about £15-20.

I worked at Game during that offer, and it pissed me off no end.

I was working there the first time (when they allowed wrestling and sports games). It was awesome because I just bought all the 1.97 games, then took them to the other Game for loads of games, then sold them @ gamestation for profit

What do u mean? Do they officially no longer allow u to trade in wrestling games? I mean I tried once to trade in LOW2, SmackDown!2 and SmackDown!4 in GAME in Weston-super-Mare and they told me that wrestling games don't sell so they weren't accepting them. I just thought they were being asses. As it is, I had 2 PS1 games and 2 PS2 games to trade in, and they only accepted the other PS1 game which got me £1 (that's right - one whole freakin' pound!) trade in value on the game I wanted to buy. I was not best pleased - until I got the game home and then I cheered up cuz it was soooo cool!
