Will just focus on who was involved last night, but just trying to grasy a few positives and negatives from the current storylines, would be interesting to gauge opinion on several things...

MNM...look innovative and different, and thats what SmackDown needs right now. Think the Snapshot looks great too.

Cruiserweights...a good match I thought, really am a big believer that Smackdown can build a reputation of these. If the rumour is true that they are bringing in a few more, it would be great to see PPV's have a few Cruiser matches and really heighten the value of the belt.

Orlando Jordan is looking better and his character is starting to develop, was good too see him pick up a clean win. Can't stand Heidenreich and his new gimmick tweak is awful, the walk is ridiculous.

Angle needs to stop the pervert gimmick. For a guy so talented in so many areas, this is the last place he needs to go and its not necessary to sell any sort of feud. Was great to see Booker get a win, but where does he ever go after the wins, and unfortunately, they never ever have booked him as a threat apart from on Raw when he really could have benefitted from taking the title of Triple H

Eddie and REy is developing well but its again hard to know where they go with this. In my opinion Eddie needed the win last night to set him up for what would have been an entertaining program with Cena for the title.

Cena carrying the show and attempting to be a new srt of Rock does not sit well, just can't stand him being Champion, and his in ring work will not always be salvaged by bloodbaths.

Any other opinions, guys on Smackdown that need pushed, areas where you could improve or change storylines?

Agree except OJ is still boring, MNM is sad, and Cena's ok.

I like how they named the move the snapshot, also the move is badass on its own

And no Eddie shouldn't have won last night, it would have ended the program, which is the best thing going on Smackdown

Watching smackdown is pretty high on my list of priorities. It's actually tied for 67th along with inserting razor blades into my eye lids whilst listening to celine dion on continous play.

I was watching Smack Down! for thre first time in a long time and what I bothered to watch was pretty good.

Carlito's Cabana was awesome and actually made me give a fuck about a hoss (Matt Morgan). Really enjoyed how Carlito played off of his stuttering gimmick. Carlito = RATINGS

Then, Guerrero came out and never said a fucking word, yet managed to build up his feud with Mysterio better than a 20 minute Triple H promo (no surprize here).

Booker looks like he is actually been given some mic time and it is nice to see the WWE is giving him a feud to help build. I could do without Sharmell though. His match against Jindrak sold just how pissed off he was.

Then, I turned it off just before I had to witness a Cena moment, or a Kurt Angle *beastiality* moment because I know it will just piss me off.

Yeah, I know....never thought I would have to say that I turned off the WWE because Kurt Angle was going to come on.

I never thought they could make me not care about Kurt Angle.

I was wrong.

I didn't think the WWE could put something I'd want to watch LESS than Visera porn.

I was WAAAAAAY off.

I was WAAAAAAY off.You think that it may be time to turn Kurt back to being a face? I mean, if that is what they have to go to to sell Angle as a crediable heel (and I didn't mind the storyline that much. Wasn't like what we saw out of the Katie Vick one.), doesn't that mean that the heel thing is starting to get stale on him? SmackDown could use another face, anyway.

I like him better as a heel. This shit is just HORRIBLE though.

Not "I'm disgusted" horrible. More like "I wonder what's on CSI" horrible.

Sorry about the lack of spoiler, fixed now.

Think the general consensus is that Smackdown is very light on talent. With that being said, what would any of you change, ideas?

Light on talent? Hell fucking no. SmackDown has one hell of an impressive rosters, it's a huge lack of good writing.

Eddie and REy is developing well but its again hard to know where they go with this.

I think with a dq ending and the ECW PPV weeks away and with them both former talent i think a ECW Rules match between the two would be awesome it could even maybe steal the show with those two regular talent to have a good match, throw in the hardcore element and u have something that could be really special

What he said. Smackdown has phenomenal talent, but the infinite monkeys are misusing them. Case in point: It shouldn't be trivia that there's actually a title for the Cruiserweights.

We've seen how far Cena can push it.

Booker and Angle are in one of the dumbest angles of the year.

JBL should do more high risk spots. :shifty:

Heiddenreich should stop making "friends" and go back to what made him famous--Getting it on with metrosexual announcers.

Haas is being wasted.

Mmm-M-mmmmatt Morgan is annoying, when he could be a decent hoss.

I know what you're all saying, but fact is outside of Eddie, Angle, Rey, and a FEW others, where is the marketable and relaible matches coming from, without seeing the same thing all the time?

I think Smackdown needs at last another 4 or 5 mid to main event card wrestlers, adding Micheals and Jericho or Christian would make all the difference in the world in my opinion.

From where I am sitting, the mask of having a lot of options is thin. An example of this? Maybe the two biggest stars in Angle (his neck) and Taker (his age) maybe only have a few years left in the ring, if even.
