Not necessarily, why should he? You have no argument. What has he done to earn the shot?

Will he be WWE Champion? No.
Should Vince give Booker T a chance? He should have back in 2003, now he isn't over enough.
Will I lose sleep over it? Not one wink.

Never again will he have even close to enough heat to be champion. He is cemented in Mid-Card.

His time was in the past. It would be too hard to undo the last couple of years.

Yeah, I agree the time to have Booker T as WWE Champion or World Heavyweight Champion has long since past.

Yeah, he is nowhere near over-enough these days, 2002 or 2003 would have been a good time to put the title on him.
Practically all of my mark friends see Booker as boring and 'just another guy'. Besides, he's like 40 now anyway. Unless they do something major to get him over soon, he will never be WWE Champion, just an upper midcarder/main event jobber.

Its a shame really because he was really over in 2003 unfortunatly that 23 seconds it took for hhh to pin him at mania 18 tells us all we need to know about booker and his title chances in wwe

I'm still upset over WM19! I think that Angle putting him over is a start. He may finally get the title before he retires. I'd love to see him take the title from Cena. Besides, it's the only feud that Cena has been in that wasn't total wrestling crap. Cena should be happy to job the title to him after he put him over. Don't get me started on the whole race thing.

They did give the title to the guy in my avatar, didn't they? Why not Booker?
Booker T and RVD are the two guys created outside the WWE environment that have been totally fucked with the most. They came in with unlimited potential to succeed, get over, and make money for the WWE, but because of how poorly their characters and feuds (what feuds?) have been handled, they will never be WWE World champions.
And when it comes to wrestlers as talented as these two are (RVD especially), it's a crying shame. But whatever.

The only real feud I can rememebr Booker being in now is that one with Cena for the U.S. title Th ebest of 5 series and stuff.
RVD had a lot of nothing.

its a shame, booker is one of my favourite wrestlers, but he just gets screwed around.
he did beat Kurt at the last ppv so...i dunno?
Basically, its great for the wwe to have a wrestler who was a 5 time WCW champ, but never got the WWE championship, makes them have a point about how much stronger the wwe is comparedto the WCW.
t'is a shame tho, i reckon him having 1 run as champ would b awesome!!!

It would take alot to make people forget Mania 19, that should never have happened. I agree that Booker beating Angle is a good start but for him to be really over he needs a long term feud with someone that will bring out the best in him (i.e Angle, Eddie) and the most important thing is that he wins that feud
Something that happens alot with Booker is that he will have good matches and will be entertaining on the mic, but all the wwe seams to do is throw him to one meaningness feud to another just to put someone else over.
I'd like to see Booker become champion but i fear his time has passed and the wwe have had him job so many times that no-one is going to take him seriously as champion, I thought that joining Smackdown and turning heel last year might be the turning point................... how wrong i was!

well, he's the 5 time WCW champion, since WWE now have the Cruiserweight and US titles, his he techniqcally 5 time, Bret Hart being 7 time, and Hulk Hogan being 11 time WWE Champion
