Here's a really bad gimmick..........

The wrestlers name would be something really obvious yet very stupid, something like "Marlboro Jones". His gimmick is pretty simple: he's in his 40's, single, isn't very athletic, and smokes lots of cigarettes. He'd be smoking a cigarette in every interview, and he'd be doing it in crazy new ways every time. His, uh, finisher would be flicking ash in a guys eye's, then rolling him up for the pin.

Let me know if this has already been done so i can apologize for not watching wrestling since 1957.

That was not only dumb, but pointless also.

But on a different note, The Big Show (The Giant at the time) used to smoke cigarettes on camera in WCW. He'd come to the ring with Vincent smoking a cigarette, tell Vincent to hold his cigarette, beat the shit out of some jobber, then get his cigarette back from Vincent before it was done burning.

The Sandman also smoked cigarettes in ECW and took 42 years to get to the ring as the entire song "Enter Sandman" by Metallica played. He'd drink a few beers (before Steve Austin, mind you) and smoke a cigarette. Then'd he cane somebody a couple times and do it all again. He fucking sucked.

Morton Downy Jr. kept blowing cigarette smoke in Roddy Piper's face at some Wrestlemania (sorry, forget which one) and Piper put it out with a fire extinguisher.

So no, that gimmick hasn't been done before, but cigarettes have a crucial role in wrestling history.

The Sandman sucked? I beg to differ. No he wasn't good in the ring, but he was entertaining. You always knew what you were going to get with him, and that was just a fucking loony ass mother fucking hurting people. I'm sorry I LOVED the Sandman in ECW.
