-- According to several people backstage, there has been a quiet rivalry between Triple H and John Cena brewing for quite some time. The backstage consensus is that Triple H feels Cena isn’t dedicated enough to his position, and is not good enough of a leader to be the champion. On Cena’s side, there is a feeling among a number of people that he just doesn’t like Triple H very much in general. Despite their problems, the two still act pleasantly when around each other.
It is likely that the two will be kept on separate shows during the WWE roster draft, in order to keep everyone happy. Many feel that in order for John Cena’s star power to grow to it’s full potential, he needs to be on the show that Triple H is not on.

Hmmmm, for Cena to continue to be big, sounds like it's best for him to stay on SmackDown.

Naw, I like Morgan. If he's gonna attempt the F5 on the Big Show though, he should really make sure it doesn't just look like he's setting him down on the floor.
wtf, HHH is trying to hold down the smackdown roster now too
of all people, cena :(

Wow...though it does figure that Cena's popularity would make him a target of HHH's ire. Also doesn't surprise me that Cena doesn't like HHH much.

Wait. So he's a bad lockeroom leader for his bringing up topical issues like airfare, and he's also bad for not being dedicated enough? Come on, which is it folks?
Anyway, I guess Cena's a smark. After all, nobody backstage has issues with Triple H.

He's still mad about that rap Cena cut on Steph that one time.

Cena, as stale as he is, is still better than HHH on his greatest day.
As far as Matt Morgan being a poor man's Brock, I don't think so. I think Smackdown! is showing a lot of potential lately, and his teaming with CCC is very interesting and exciting.

I disagree. At his prime, Triple H was FAR better in the ring than Cena, and cut some damn fine promos. He was mad entertaining.
So while HHH now may not beat Cena, HHH on his best day could.

Agree with KK here. Not many people were/are better than HHH in his prime. He could do it all.

If this is true, its just petty jealousy. For everything that Trips has accomplished as far as wrestling goes, he's never really achieved the cross-over success of guys like Austin, Foley, and The Rock. Blade: Trinity was basically aflop and he just lost any shot of starring in the next Conan flick. And now here comes Cena who looks like he might legitimately become the WWE's next true mega-star. All the while doing a gimmick that Trips must loathe; he did interviews where he mentions how much he hated rap as far back as the Two Man Power Trip days. So this must make him want to vomit in his mouth.
As for Cena disliking Hunter : I'm sure there's a feeling within the roster that he's protected because of Stephanie and Vince. if even half the rumors we hear are true, Triple H must be hated by damn near everyone on that roster. So no big suprise.
What will be interesting will be seeing what wins out: Vince's relationship with his son-in-law or his desire to make a buck? It's easy to say keep the two apart. But Raw is the flagship show. If Cena is really that over, then eventually he has to go to that show, doesn't he? Or does Vince keep Cena on SD as a selling point for that show once the UPN contract ends?

Yup. Since this is Vince McMahon I say greed wins. Eventually Cena ends up on Raw and Vince sends Hunter to Smackdown telling him that it will give him a whole new roster to dominate/hold down.

Now, if the title goes with Cena (So the REAL WWE title is on Raw) and Hunter's on the B-SHow, all will be right with the world. So long as Taker doesn't move off of Smackdown...

Taker and Hunter on the same show? The locker-room floor would be so covered with the remains of crushed careers that it'd look like Apocalypse Now...

I was kind of hoping for that ego clash.
We'll know Taker lost when his WM winning streak comes to an end at the hands of Shannon Moore on Heat.

I actually think a John Cena vs. Triple H feud for the WWE Title on SmackDown! would be interesting. It would be something fresh for Hunter to do.
Have him get drafted, show up with Drowning Pool's version of "The Game", and immediately start a feud ith Cena, only for Teddy Kong to protect his biggest star by forcing Triple H to start at the bottom of the ladder (on Velocity). Hell, Triple H manipulating Heidenreich as his "friend" could even be interesting.
Real-life tension would pobably bring out the best in both Cena and Triple H. Triple H would want to prove he's the leader of the two, and he's still the top guy in the WWE, and Cena would want to make it look like he's the guy to carry the torch.
I personally believe Triple H vs. John Cena at Summerslam in the main event for the WWE Championship is the best possible main event they could have.

Yeah, he hates Cena because she now moans "White Chocolate!"

Or does Triple H somehow manipulate the situation and manage to get Smackdown onto a horrible timeslot, like say, 8-10 on Friday night, thus destroying Cena's chances at full-filling his utmost potential?

Of course HHH dislikes Cena. Cena's getting over with very limited talents in the ring, and Hunter just cant compete with that.
All he do is yap about how important it is for a World Champion to be a great wrestler, but really, being a great wrestler has always meant very little when it comes to drawing money.
If Cena winds up being a guy who takes off as a draw, that makes HUnter look less valuable, and maybe he might have to give up his spot.
So of course Hunter will do everything he can to tear Cena down.
As far as Cena disliking Hunter, I'm sure 90% of the rosters feels the same way, so.
