HOT  . More stealth games need multiplayer in them, because it sells, because people like to kill other people, with an array o' weapons. In conclusion, this game will be sweetness.

How exactly would multiplayer in a stealth-based game work?

Still, I love most stealth-based games (particularly MGS and Tenchu), so if this ever comes out for the PS2, I'll probably pick it up.

Probably just like a deathmatch. Although I believe stealth would be kind of boring. You know, with everyone in the match hiding in the shadows and not moving for 10 minutes at a time.

Just kidding, I'm sure the multiplayer will rule.

The multiplayer will work this way...

Two teams, one of stealthy type guys, and one of mercenaries. It's up to the stealthy ones to (naturally) use stealth to achieve a particular objective. The mercenaries will have to stop them. The stealth players see in a traditional Splinter Cell third person view while the mercs well operate as if in an FPS game, meaning they can be snuck up on. All this according to some UK PS2 magazine...
