Sorry for being a little bit late folks but none the less welcome to day 5 of RTTT. Last time we had the team of Power and Glory who scored a respectable 62. For how long they were in the buisness that is a very generous number.

Today we have arguably the greatest tag team if all time. This team has been everwhere and done just about everything. Former NWA, AWA and WWF tag team champions. If you talk about tag team longevity you have to mention this team. They have defeated every tag team you can mention and dominated the tag team ranks for years. Managed by Paul Ellering and briefly Sunny, they are Animal and Hawk. Whatever you want to call them, LOD 2000, Legion of Doom or the Road Warriors they will never be forgotten.

I have to take a point away for even trying an angle against the New Age Outlaws (my fave tag team)...and the whole LOD 2000 thing. I give them a very respectful 8.5

I'm in agreement with Hitman84 9.5 for me as well. I used to mark out like a little girl when the opening chords of Ironman hit.

I was such a fanboy when I was a kid that I used to bring my ghetto blaster and Ozzy's "Speak of the Devil" tape to my hockey games and play Ironman when we left the dressing room.

9.5. that LOD 2000 thing and what they tried to do with Droz sucked.

The Road Warriors had everything that a great tag-team needed to get over. They're also one of the most recognizable and marketable teams / individuals in wrestling. For the majority of their careers they were solid in the ring, and were always entertaining in every aspect. Great hype guys as well. They also proved they could get over without being together [Hawk with Sasaki in Japan, Animal in late WCW].

Shame that Hawk passed away so young - especially when I am 1000% sure that the LOD had more left to do in the business. They were, if I'm right, the only tag team to ever appear in the AWA, NWA, WCW, WWF/E, and NWA-TNA [not counting Hawk's bit in ECW].

10, they pretty much reinvented tag team wrestling in the 80s. They also spawned 2,000,000 Road Warrior wannabes who no sold everything.
