Does anyone in Europe actaully care about it? I saw a picture of a stadium with 40,000 people in it for a NFL Euro game. I'm not sure what that means though. Are the tickets dirt cheap? Or was that just some rare thing where a shitload of Americans showed up to watch haha. I don't think MLS games ever get anywhere close to 40,000 people here. I might be wrong though. Which doesn't make much sense since soccer is a pretty popular high school sport here.

My opinion on the NFL Europe is that it is a complete waste of airspace. You care about your high school, your college, and your NFL team. When that is done, nobody follows the minor league in Europe. If I had it my way, they would show champions league matches and even like major league lacrosse.
But what it all comes down to is that some people apparently do watch NFL Europe, and the NFL is a very rich company, so in the end they can put their product on TV because it gets more ad revenue then say a soccer game. Damn this world.

I was watching a game last weekend and it said their average fans have gone up almost 20% in the last 2 years. I also heard somewhere that they might just fold the league.

Yeah I heard that too, 'cause the NFL was saying it's becomming a huge waste of money since they haven't gotten like any good prospects from there in years or w/e

6 teams, seems like they scrap an old team and replace it every few years. The Hamburg Sea Devils are new this year I do believe.
Anyways, waste of money probably. I certainly don't watch.

It'd be cool if the teams were from all over Europe; like Lisbon, Barcelona, Warsaw, Rome etc. but it's just 5 German teams and a Dutch one.

Yeah I was going to mention that point. 5 of the 6 teams are in Germany, so I suppose you're not really hitting all the big markets by doing that. Bad strategy from a marketing standpoint. Good point, Miz.
