Is it worth running over Ad-Aware SE? Not being nitpicky or anything, I just hate having more than one program for the same purpose... so if this is better I'll just delete Ad-aware and use this =-o

Seems to work pretty nice, I have it on auto protect and it helped with some nasty spyware that was coming back constantly.

I tried the beta version a little while back, it has its merrits. i ended up sticking with the good 'ol combination of ad-aware and spybot. i just didnt like the idea of another running prosess i dont need on all the time.
might give it another shot i guess.

I'd keep them both just to be sure, but I'd say the intergration with microsoft software definately gives it some merit over ad-aware. It picked up a few things ad-aware didn't.
Did you try the later version CREDO?

I recommend that you DO NOT use Spysubtract. It's really shitty.

In the agreement, it said it ends in about 6 weeks, and you get no further warning :|

I just installed and activated this anti-spyware. Do they start charging a fee after a certain amount of time?

And when you get a message that says, do you want to allow or block something, how do you know which one to choose?

Anyone know why it says it'll stop working on X date?
Bad Company

Probably because it's beta software and microsoft should have a newer revision of it available before X date.

Sweet. My dad killed my computer with some bullshit porn.
So I said "Spyware makes it slow, it automatically downloads onto your computer when you go to certain sites, especially porn"
His response?
"I didn't download anything so don't blame this shit on me"
