TNAwrestling.com learned on Tuesday night that independent star Samoa Joe has come to terms on a deal with TNA Wrestling.

Samoa Joe will debut in his first match for TNA Wrestling this Sunday night live on Pay-Per-View at Slammiversary against “The Original Playa From The Himalaya” Sonjay Dutt.

More matches will be announced in the upcoming days for this Sunday’s three-hour epic event Slammiversary, the biggest night in TNA history!

Wow, I'd LOVE to have a contract with a company that doesn't have a TV deal and has to build up their entire PPV on the Internets... [/sarcasm]

And no, I'm not counting indy feds, because they're smaller and don't run international PPVs...

A few months from now he'll be added to the laundry list of credible guys jobbed out to Jarrett.

Did he sign a contract for a while? I heard this could be a one off deal

Good for Joe. More mainstream exposure and money can only be a good thing for a indy wrestler's career. :)

Well, I mean, I heard that the TNA site is going to be revamped as of tomorrow...with a chatroom....Styles is going to chat tomorrow night. Anyhow, I think they must have something pretty much done as far as TV goes...I mean, I doubt the company would do all this if they were doomed???

I'm just interested to see which network TNA ends up on.

As far as Joe goes, I've heard of him, but haven't seen his matches, so I can't say anything

Until you run into HHH and HHH wannabe's that is.

I have actually seen Joe wrestle, he seems good and obviously has some star power. But abit over-rated imo, because he isn't as good as what he's made out to be, from what ive seen.
