How much would a THQ game based solely upon ECW One Night Stand rule?
---------------
*Disclaimer* I am in no way trying to start a rumour that such a game is being made. This is a hypothetical game which WWE/THQ may or may not release.

Just the worst idea
Actually, if it had the DOR engine, and they had former ECW wrestlers (not just the ones at One Night Stand) and the matches and stuff, I'd be willing to get it. Get Joey Styles to do the commentary and it would be pretty awesome in my opinion.

They would not released one based on a sole PPV.

Probably not, I was just speculating what a possible game might be like. I personally think one could be quite good, but that's just my opinion ...

It would be cool, but have you seen the recent roster sizes?

The recent WWE games have both had disappointingly small rosters. SVR had more wrestlers, but not by many. SVR 2 and DoR2 will have larger rosters, but not by a huge number.
While they could add more, they probably won't. In other words, ECW wrestlers will likely be an either/or sitch.

I must admit I do miss the larger rosters liek the one that was on HCTP.
the roster that was on DOR and SVR was disappointing. EVen on WM21. well that roster was very disappointing.
I don't know why they think that we only want the larger names which is why they leave so many guys off the games and stuff. They need to open their eyes and see that we would like more. The ECW guys would probably be non existant on teh game or if so maybe like one or two. I dunno.
I just miss the larger rosters

Me too.
I loved how people were like "DOR SUCKS! HCTP HAS MORE WRESTLERS!"
And then SVR came out, and the roster was like five larger than DOR, and they were all suddenly like "Well, roster size doesn't matter."
'Cept, we had a CAW that didn't look like an anorectic Mick Jagger.

They tried an ECW Game before and didnt sell too well, so may sell better now but dont think so

The fact that the game was utter shit had nothing to do with the lack of sales, I'm sure.

Well it wasnt the greatest but wasnt that bad. I mean if ur a hardcore WWE fan would atleast give a game or two a try. Well ECW fans would have gave it a try ud think. I believe it had the same engine that Wrestlemania 2000 had.
If by Wrestlemania 2000 you mean WWF Attitude, you'd be correct. It was Attitude with ECW wrestlers and a brimestone match. It would probably be the same today.

WM2K used the engine that would become the No Mercy Engine.
How the fuck could you think these games were that similar?
Utter shit, I tell you.
