On yesterday’s Magic 105 KMJX morning show here in Little Rock, AR, DJ Tommy Smith talked to Jimmy Hart. Hart had an announcement: He and Hulk Hogan were looking to start up something out of Universal Studios in Florida, and said they had been talking to Ted Dibiase, Sting, Buff Bagwell, and while Outlaw was screaming about the Million Dollar Man, Jimmy said, "Bret the Hitman Hart." He went on to mention TNA and having met up with Lex Luger and Sting on one of their broadcasts and also mentioned the work that Ted and all were doing in churches. He seemed really excited, and mentioned a couple of PPV opportunities. It was hard to pick all of the details out, but this is the first I've heard of Hulk doing anything since the TNA angle with Jeff Jarrett a few months back.

Bret won't be coming back.
This new fed they might be starting up would suck with those people, who are past their prime. It'd be Old Veterans Wrestling.

Ummm...didn't Jimmy and Hogan do this before? I think it was called the XWF or something.

Other than Buff Bagwell, the list of talents (Jimmy Hart,Hulk Hogan,Ted DiBiase,Sting,Bret Hart,Lex Luger) really isn't bad at all. Obviously Bret
and Ted would not be back in a wrestling capacity, but they'd definitely
add to any promotion.
The thing is,if it does happen,it'll probably go in the same direction as
the former XWF did; with no direction, you go down the toilet :y:

That would be the best part of this fed if it happens, those guys could be invaluable teachers to new talent. Will be interesting to see where it goes.

Sounds awesome. Luger, Buff, Sting, Hogan are all cool. Great WCW memories.
People often bash them, but they were trained in a different era. Makes them unique. Old style type of wrestling. Well not old old style. Just plain and simple. Gets the job done.

Its not going to work. Hogan would be the focal point of the company, and Hogan cant draw TV ratings. He can be a draw once a year on PPV, but even that is pushing it.
As for the other guys, any promotion with Buff Bagwell is doomed for failure.

I think Sting could draw in a crowd just as well as Hogan.

Which is why even WWE was smart enough to fire him after about five minutes.
