So i went to hellfest last year and it was one of most fun times ever. I was really iffy this year due to them adding taking back sunday as one of the headliners. As of now though the lineup is starting to look really good.

Hellfest organizers have announced the first 49 (out of an eventual 188) that will be performing at the event, which will take place August 19, 20, and 21st at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ. The groups will be divided amongst five stages. Additional bands will be announced every week, but here's the first batch:

Not a bad starting lineup. Far too many bands I've never heard of though...

and theres still is 139 more to be announced. I heard that Earth Crisis is supposed to be playing a reunion show.

That is an awesome line-up but there's some weird inclusions on there like Gym Class Heroes and The Early November or Armor For Sleep.
Don't get me wrong, I love all three of those bands but it's just weird.
