Ok, it's that time of year when Mr Murdoch and his Sky broadcasting network try get me to part with sixteen of my hard earned £ to watch a WWE pay per view this sunday. It's not going to be anyway as good as the last PPV offering of One Night Stand, so... why should I order Vengeance this weekend? :-\

I'm guessing that you are on a wrestling board, so you like and watch wrestling. So you know full well what matches are going to happen at this ppv and have obviously decided whether or not to buy it.

So no, you shouldn't buy it because you made this topic to be controvertial. :shifty:

Seriously though, Batista Vs Triple H is in a hell in a cell so it should be easy for them to have a good match.

Cena Vs Jericho Vs Christian will be good because it has Jericho and Christian in it.

Kane Vs Lita (w/Edge) should be good because of the storyline going into the match.

Angle Vs HBK is gonna be mad awesome.

Carlito Vs Benjamin will be good because both guys are good in the ring.

There's also some womens match but who gives a shit about that.

Also its on at 1 in the morning for us so if you feel you'd stay up then go for it.

No, because I haven't decided to buy it yet and I wanted you guys to give me some encouragement or warning. It also gives us a chance to discuss the matches and the show. Now stop trying to be clever and discuss...

edit - (oh, you already have..... fair play)

Well i'm in the same situation as you chavo, after ONS i'm not really sure whether it's worth it or not but i do want to see Angle v HBK because i never saw wrestlemania. And that has 'classic match' written all over it already. Also the wwe title match will be good, and i didn't know about carlito/shelton but that sounds like it has the potential to be a 3/4 star match.

The two downsides putting me off however are 1) Batista/HHH. Mainly because the last time HHH had a hell in a cell match it was completely shit. Plus i have seen too many ppv's where HHH has walked away with the title again and then talked about it in a 30 minute promo the next night on Raw, now wwe, if your going to do that again explain to me why i should waste money on that?

And 2) i think the kane/edge storyline is retarded because we all know kane/lita wont together and it was matt/lita,and the fact that that has recieved so much publicity just makes you think, 'do the writers expect us to be stupid idiots and get into this bullshit?"They should've just stuck matt with lita in the first place since they like 'using real life stuff' in storylines.

It wont be as good as ONS for those two other reasons i mentioned, oh yeah and the womens match doesn't even need a mention because no one gives a shit about that, whatever it is.

To be honest, I can't think of one good reason to get it. The sad thing is is that I probally will anyway...

Well, my bet is Triple H will recieve a sloppy looking catapult, either into the turnbuckle or into the cage (depending on how creative he feels). There is definitely Triple H holding the steel steps only to recieve a drop toe hold and him placing the steps in front of his face while he falls. Insert blade job ... ... ... you know, the usual same Hell In A Cell performance that Triple H puts on. You'll see nothing new... except Triple H will lose and Batista keeps the title.

This is why I love being able to watch PPVs at Hooters.

Cause Batista is going to return the job. Oh wait, that is a reason not to buy it.

Have a feeling Trips will win and start a feud with whoever wins the Cena/Jericho/Christian match. My bet is Cena will retain his belt.

Shawn vs Kurt should be worth purchasing the PPV by itself.

2 things...

Cena vs. Jericho vs. Christian - wayyyyyyy more interesting and exciting than Batista vs. Triple H III (they might just go up to Batista vs. Triple H XV) LOL

and...

Angle vs. HBK - rematch

Do we have Hooters in the UK? Even if we did, we couldn't be able to drink since it'd be on past the liquor licensing time restrictions. Dam you Americans, always one step ahead.

Every year it's the same formula with HHH. It's like a ring announcer comes out and says "Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to this year's Triple H bleeding in a steel cage event, sponsored by Who Gives A Crap and I wonder what WCW would be doing right now."

Matches guaranteed to be great are:

John Cena V.S. Chris Jericho V.S. Christian - Because the ring is full with some of the most amazing talent WWE has ever seen.

Triple H V.S. Batista - It's in a cell, should be a lot of blood and stuff. I love Hell in the Cells.

Kurt Angle V.S. Shawn Michaels - This match is gonna rock.
