View Full Version : Current WWE Cruiserweight Division (Smackdown spoilers)
1) Akio
2) Billy Kidman
3) Chavo Guerrero
4) Daivari
5) Funaki
6) Nunzio
7) Paul London (Champ)
8) Rey Mysterio
9) Scotty 2 Hotty
10) Shannon Moore
11) Spike Dudley
12) Juventud Guerrera
13) Psicosis
14) Super Crazy
Plus the chance that Tajiri or Hurricane could be drafted over to Smackdown. Also CM Punk has recently signed for the company.
The purpose of this list is to demonstrate the fact that the WWE has a very talented CW division. The addition of Juvi, Psicosis and Super Crazy suggests to me that they are interested in doing something with the cruiserweights. I honestly think that we could be going back to the start of the roster split when the CW division was a big deal and a big part of the Smackdown show. I expect a major improvement for the cruiserweights in the upcoming months.

Might wanna add "possible spoilers" to the topic title because of #4
I also forgot that there is Frankie Kazarian in OVW, Marty Jannety was signed and there's Kid Kash getting trial matches (apparently impressing), Simon Dean might get drafted and there's a bunch of TNA X-divisoners who I can see being in the WWE by the end of the year (hopefully one of them isn't Shocker).

The WWE have got my hopes up about the Cruiserweights before. Back in 2001 just before Wrestlemania 17 Jerry Lynn beat Crash for the championship. The next Raw, a fatal four way was declared and we all thought this was a new era for the division. That kind of didn't accumulate and i'm still bitter about it now.
It'd take an idiot to screw up the division this time with the current roster, lets hope it doesn't...

Mark my words... THEY WILL SCREW IT UP. Vince doesn't like little guys, I don't know why he even signed them.

I haven't seen much of the guy, but I know he's highly rated. So, I hope he does stay out of the division so I DO get a chance to see him

It was better when Cruiserweights were a "SmackDown Exclusive"

Remember when we were saying the same thing cuz the CW had Jimmy Yang, Paul London, Kidman, Rey Rey, Chavo Jr, Shannon Moore, and Jamie Noble?
They'll try for two weeks, then give up. It happens all the time.
I won't believe it till I see it. If I see it, I will  the writers for once.

They need to find a way to get more of these guys on TV every week.
The main problem I find is that witht he CW division they only give time for the CW title program, which is between two guys. That means the other 10 or so guys are left with nothing to do.
I would ike to see them have more CW 6 man tags and stuff to get more guys over. Maybe this Mexicools thing can work towards that.

They should have kept Tajiri's little stable thing going from last year. The feud between those guys and the Mexicools would have been GOLD. Put together a make-shift three team of London, Moore and God (that's Chavo to you and me) to battle with them and we'd be laughing.
