Back in the late 80's/early 90's when Flair and Hogan were the two top men in pro wrestling, was there a huge hype between a potential match up together? And when Flair came to the WWF, what were your thoughts about his WWF title run? And what did you think about their first match together? Was it a letdown or a classic? Fill me in peeps.

Personally, his angle with Elizabeth (RIP) was money! "This is for you babe! WOOO!" Mr. Perfect (RIP) had good chemistry with Flair on the mic. Kinda reminds me of someday Orton and Stephanie can feud with Flair and Triple H. An angle where Orton starts moving in on Trip's ex wife. Hmmm. :naughty: Flair stays neutral, while Orton plays the underdog face. Batista should be neutral too so that it leads to some swerves.

Hogan as Mr. America was comical but I wish that angle could've lasted longer. But he clearly was Mark Henry, by the way. Anyways, funny as hell, the lie detector thing was the funniest thing I've in ages. Hogan vs. The Rock was definitely a classic. Seeing him show up on RAW was special and he was loved right from the start. Loved the ambulance crash promo.

Flair in Evolution is tarnishing his legacy his but atleast he's getting air time instead of being a washed up nobody resorting to making rap albums. It suits him as a heelish sometimes comedic manager that rolls with in my opinion the coolest stable in the WWE in a long time. DX was cool too but thats' old news. I still think Batista's image doesn't suit Evolution. I'd like to see possibly Jericho get aligned with Evolution some time because of the hilarious "how YOU doin?" segment. But if Batista was replaced, I'd have Big Show, or Brock Lesnar take his place to freshen it up because Evolution is boring right now. Imagine, Brock in a clean ass suit taking over for Triple H on RAW. Then him and Orton can have that huge money feud that one day will be hot as hell although Benoit seems like the best choice to replace Trips for a while, while he goes to do his "movies"

Well Flair/Hogan was an early example of Vince's inabiity to pull the trigger on an easy angle. He basically had the WCW Champion on his TV, and he had the biggest potential money match in wrestling history, but it never came to be on a major PPV or TV. I dont recall any match between the two on TV , I know they worked some house shows, but I wasn't at any of them, so I cant really comment on the quality of the matches.

Flair never really had the chance to show all his skills in WWE, except of course at the 92 Rumble, and the fued with Savage was really good as well. But aside from that his run with New York wasn't all that spectacular.

Batista is fine to me in Evolution. I mean I wouldn't build a monster up by putting him nice clothes, but then again I dont think they are trying to push him as a monster. It would be sily to have Brock join Evolution. A) Brock shouldn't take a backseat in any faction and B) I dont want to see Brock ina suit, that would really hurt (re kill) his image.

As for Flair in Evolution, I like it. He is an important part of the fabric of the group. And whenthy do the eventual turn with Randy, he'll have another legend to kill. Flair is treated with respect, and he says he's having a lot of fun, so im my mind that means its all good.

Mr America: like the B-Sharps. Funny the first time I seen it, less and less funny every other time I got to see it.

Really, I don't think that Flair being in Evolution is tarnishing his legacy, I think it's polishing it. Whereas guys like Hogan, Warrior, and Savage are losing all respect with longtime fans by being egotistical and just plain insane, Flair is continually putting over an entire generation of new superstars. IMO he will be remembered as the best World Champion of all time not for the number of times he wore the belt, but for the contributions he made during and after those reigns.

Legends play great managers for current superstars. I think of Flair managing Triple H as a parallel to Harley Race managing Vader in 1994 WCW. Not only was Vader talented in the ring, but he was over as one of the top heels. Harley Race's management gave him that extra step to being one of the best of his time. Now even though I admit that Trips hasn't been at the top of his game in a while, (no pun inteded) Flair's management has always given him that same extra step. I see it as a passing of the torch from one legend to a future legend.

I really dont see the point in Flair being Triple H's manager. Triple H has been on the main event scene for over 4 years he has won 8 World Titles. He dosent need someone to tell him how great he is

Maybe not, but having him teamed with Orton and Batista is doing great things for the both of them.

Brock in a suit

What does anyone think of a diva joining Evolution? It would make Evolution look less manlier I guess, since Evolution is based as an all male stable, but if they did decided to put a female in the group, who should go? How would it play out?

I'd probably put Torrie Wilson, Stacy or Sable in there. But if Stacy wants in, she needs to do Playboy first :naughty: Have Flair pressure her to do it. Make any of these three a stuck up heel bitch always thinking she's better than everyone else.

If they are going to put in a girl it might as well be Steph.

But, part of their gimmick is that they get all the chicks, I dont think having a chick tied to one of the guys is the best idea.
