I thought it was a really fun ppv, very good effot by WWE. Deffinatly WWE PPV of the year so far. The HBK/Angle match had me screaming just like the WM 21 match, the Intercontinental Title match was pretty good, Kane/Edge was good, the WWE Title Match was good could have gone longer but some nice stuff in it, and the Hell in a Cell rocked. Good good ppv in my opinion.

Triple H vs. Batista
Triple H walked out of RAW several weeks ago, giving the impression that he was never coming back. With The Game gone, Ric Flair revived a relationship built on respect with Batista. Then with Batista’s guard down, the “Dirtiest Player in the Game” delivered a cheap shot to the champ. At the same time, a returning Triple H crashed the ring and decimated Batista with a sledgehammer, busting him wide open. Triple H and Ric Flair had struck again.
At the end of the brutal beating, Triple H challenged Batista to a Hell in a Cell Match. One week later, The Animal accepted Triple H’s challenge. He then sent a message to The Game by bloodying both Muhammad Hassan and Daivari on RAW.
Will the champ be able to do the same to The Game? Or will Triple H - the most successful Hell in a Cell competitor in sports-entertainment history - find a way to once again be victorious inside Hell in a Cell, thus becoming an 11-time World Champion? Find out at Vengeance.

After RAW drafted WWE Champion John Cena from SmackDown!, General Manager Eric Bischoff was able to sign a second world championship match for Vengeance - John Cena vs. Christian.
Not including Chris Jericho didn't sit well with the host of the Highlight Reel. So in an attempt to open Bischoff's eyes, Y2J attacked Cena from behind after a match in which Y2J was actually Cena's partner. The attack was not only personal, but it also encouraged Bischoff to add Jericho to the WWE Championship Match at Vengeance.
Will RAW's newest champion be able to walk out of Vengeance with his spinner belt? If so, he will have to fend off both Christian and Chris Jericho.

After weeks of enduring malicious taunts, Kane will get his chance to silence soon-to-be ex-wife Lita and her new love interest Edge. But if he falls at the pay-per-view in Las Vegas, it could be the ultimate anguish.
Since Lita’s betrayal of her husband during the Gold Rush Tournament, she and Edge have done everything possible to torment Kane. Lita filed for divorce, flushed her wedding ring down the toilet and has passionately embraced Edge before Kane’s eyes.
Kane has been despondent, but his rage has also grown with each act perpetrated. At Vengeance, he’ll finally get he hands on those causing him such pain.

Kurt Angle says they stole the show at WrestleMania 21. Next, they’ll try to hit the jackpot in Vegas.
New RAW Superstar Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels renew their rivalry at Vengeance on June 26, and they’ll have their epic WrestleMania encounter to live up to.
The seeds of this rivalry were officially planted at the Royal Rumble, when HBK eliminated Angle only to have the enraged Olympic gold medalist re-enter the ring and dismantle Michaels with submission holds.
Then after weeks of sneak attacks and brawls, HBK and Angle squared off on the biggest stage of them all — and they delivered a match for the ages full of near-falls and narrow escapes. The battle concluded with Michaels trapped in Kurt’s ankle lock and nowhere to go. After a prolonged fight, HBK tapped.
“The Showstopper” clearly hasn’t forgotten how things ended in the ring in Hollywood, as the moment Angle was drafted to RAW, HBK seized the opportunity to challenge him to a pay-per-view rematch. A confident Angle promptly accepted — then reminded HBK how things ended the last time around.
Will Vengeance be another “dream match” for Angle, or will “Sweet Chin Music” find the mark in the desert? We’ll find out June 26.

Intercontinental Champion Carlito vs. Shelton Benjamin
June 26, 2005
At Vengeance, Shelton Benjamin will get an opportunity to recapture the championship he shockingly lost to former SmackDown! Superstar Carlito this past Monday on RAW.
Shelton Benjamin’s immensely successful eight-month Intercontinental Champion reign ended in the same fashion it began — with a surprise match against a mystery opponent.
General Manger Eric Bischoff forced Benjamin to defend the Intercontinental Championship against RAW’s latest Draft Lottery selection, who turned out to be Carlito. In the match that immediately followed, Shelton again showed a willingness to take risks and do whatever it would take to retain.
For the first time, however, an athletic and dangerous move would lead to his downfall.
Benjamin attempted a soaring plancha over the top rope to Carlito on the outside, but the tip of his boot caught the top rope in the process. Benjamin corkscrewed to the concrete below, hitting Carlito but landing back- and head-first on the floor. He never fully recovered as Carlito smelled blood in the water and mounted his attack. Shelton would battle gamely, but Carlito managed a victory roll with leverage from the ring ropes to earn the three-count. In doing so, Carlito became Intercontinental Champion in his RAW debut, just as he had won the United States Championship in his SmackDown! debut.
At Vengeance, Shelton will get his chance to take the championship back. But will he be fully recovered, and will he have time to prepare for the newest member of the RAW roster? Watch the pay-per-view this Sunday to find out.
Victoria vs. Christy
After months of watching Christy gain all the accolades, Victoria viciously attacked the 2004 $250,000 RAW Diva Search winner, claiming she was tired of being witness to all her success, especially her Women's Championship Match at WrestleMania.
Victoria followed that with another vicious assault. This time, the former Women's Champion bloodied Christy backstage at RAW. Christy suffered a slight concussion and needed a few stitches from the attack of Victoria, but she’ll be ready to go for Vengeance. Victoria better look out for the fiery red head at Vengeance.
This Sunday, the two WWE Divas will square off in one-on-one action. Will Christy be able to exact revenge at Vengeance? Or will Victoria continue her onslaught?

They'll almost definately do the Hell in a Cell last, but wouldn't it be interesting if Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels was the main event, or the Triple Threat Match went on last?
Those two matches (specifically the Triple Threat) is where most of the interest is going, so they may as well play up the value of the WWE Championship, and have it headline the show.

If Triple H wins the Hell in a Cell....I dont know what I'll do.
The only match that interests me is the Triple Threat. Kane vs Edge could be interesting, no doubt they will tease Hardy's return. I bet Kane wins via V1's music playing and distracting him.
Although if Hardy did come out, I would piss myself.

I really don't think Cena's gonna lose; Batista, however, may be dropping the title tonight. It makes more sense to send HHH to SD, where there's a surplus of top faces, and Cena = money right now (ratings, ticket sales, merchandise, etc.) Y2J and Xian are both over, but Cena really trumps 'em as far as how much dough WWE can reap during his title reign.

IDEA!
I bet you anything whoever wins stays on RAW, it gets merged with the WWE title around Summerslam or so, and is made into the RAW Heavyweight Championship. So then you have the RAW HWC, and the smackDOWN HWC. Now there will be no debate over which is better, WWE or World. Even though we'll know the RAW is better because it will have loads more history, just seems like something dumb they will do.
I know thats choppy and hard to understand, but I hope you get my idea. ;)

WCW Championship has no history?
One the wwe.com site's "Title History" section, the world heavyweight championship only has its history dating a few years back (i.e., HHH's reigns). The belt only carries the WCW design, but not the WCW history.
So while it looks like the WCW title, it's not the WCW title.

the WCW Championship was merged with the WWE Title. That's Cena's title once again.
The Raw Title was created for HHH by Mr. Eric Bischoff.

WCW Championship has no history?
If you want to be really technical...it doesn't.
In appearance, it is the old WCW title. When Eric Bischoff introduced it on Raw, they spoke of it as if it were the old WCW title, the same one held by Ric Flair and others before it was dissolved into the WWE title currently held by John Cena.
But technically...that title was just created for HHH out of the blue, using the shell of the old WCW belt. Introduced by Eric Bischoff, and handed over to HHH.

Sooo...I'm now expecting to see Batista go to SD. HHH would've built the show's credibility more, but he still has an aversion to Tuesdays. I dunno who Batista can feud with - JBL's the top heel, but that'd be a pretty lame feud; 'sides, Jibble/Hassan would be a fantastic feud, if for nothing other than the mic work. Benoit heel turn? Another RAW draftee who moves to SD with him? And how will Edge's title shot come into play?
But for the love of god, they are NOT going through with that stupid SD title idea. I've preferred SD since day freakin' one, but that would be enough to make me abandon the damn show.

The Angle/HBK match was good, the HIAC was solid considering who was in it.

A "Batista" chant rang out. Triple H set the lower section of ringsteps in the ring, and set up for a Pedigree on the steps. Batista blocked it and gave Triple H a slow spinebuster on the steel steps. Batista grabbed Triple H and set up for the powerbomb. Triple H grabbed the sledgehammer. Batista lifted Triple H for the powerbomb, and Triple H prepared to hit him with the sledgehammer, but Batista drove down the powerbomb before Triple H could hit him with the hammer, and got the pin at the 27 minute mark.
Winner: Batista.
Triple H was laid out, the hammer still in his hand, as Batista celebrated in the ring with the World Title belt to end the show.

Okay so where are all of the HHH bashers? This guy really isn't that bad, HONESTLY.
Compare him to Jeff Jarrett, who (according to reports) refused to take part in a King of the Mountain match if he wasn't going to win...because it was "his" match! Now, Jarrett probably has more claim to that type of match than HHH does to Hell in the Cell, but the point remains that in a similar situation, HHH let another superstar go over him in "his" gimmick match.
Now they just need to fix the fact that his character has gotten kinda stale. (The feud with Eugune was the last time I can recall that HHH was really "fresh" for an entire fued.)

So now the WWE has fucked over Chris Jericho and Christian as heels, where are they going to go now? John Cena vs. Chris Jericho at Summerslam seems logical, but now you've got the Triple H syndrome after Cena, so it's unlikely Y2J will get another shot. Christian could turn face, but with Cena and Michaels on RAW, he won't get a shot.
That was an awesome PPV, though. Batista is still World Heavyweight Champion, and off to SmackDown! I bet. RAW gets The Big Show, who enters a meaningless feud with Chris Jericho or Christian, and SD! gets someone like Shelton Benjamin, or a long-shot pick like Kane.
Speaking of Kane...he's BAAAAAAAAACK.
The Kane vs. Edge match was awesome, with the right man going over and the rebirth of a monster. Now the WWE just needs to keep Kane strong. I was marking out like a bitch when Kane wouldn't stay down, and he knew everything Edge had planned and... I'm still spasming from my Kane markout session.
It seems the WWE is only going to draft one person this week, forgetting they said two originally. I wouldn't mind it if someone like Eddie Guerrero showed up and played a face, just so Chris Jericho and Christian have opponents in the works.
Maybe the WWE is trying to swerve us by having us think Batista is going to SD!, by establishing a Champion on SD! (where we all think Batista will shiw up and claim dominance). Jus use the Eagle belt and the SmackDown! Champion as credibility. RAW could really use a "RAW Champion" to kee all its talent busy.
Carlito held ropes to beat Shelton

Vengeance wasn't too bad, but not for me in fantasy league. I had Shelton, Edge, and Angle all losing. But I had HHH and Batista since I really didn't know who was going to win that, so I took both.
I was surprised to see Batista retain. Wasn't surprised to see Angle lose, so there will be a best of 3 match at Summerslam maybe. Cena retained, I figured that would happen.

I thought the show was really good. Triple H made Batista look credible, and that is smart. But...Batista will probably get drafted and Triple H can now take away Cena's title and never make Christian or anyone else a star again :( I marked out though when Triple H lost cause that makes 3 PPV's in a row where he lost...to the same guy.
I don't understand why WWE took the title off of Shelton. He's been impressive and puts on a better performance each time he's in the ring. They had no reason to give it to Carlito.
