I'm in one of those moods lately and I need some good comedy CD recommendations.
Here's what I have:
Robin Williams - Live 2002
Denis Leary - No Cure for Cancer
Lewis Black - Rules of Enragement
and I'd appreciate album recommendations over recs for a certain comedians (i.e. "Richard Pryor is good" well, no shit. But what are good Pryor CDs??)
So, please, go ahead.

Anything by Doug Stanhope. I love his stand up.
And David Cross. Theres a few bootlegs floating with some of his stuff before the turn of the centuary, which is just as good as his CDs.
And Bill Hicks. Legend.

it's not standup, but if you can get a copy of Peter Cook and Chris Morris' "Why Bother?" I'd recommend you do. basically improvised interviews, meant to sound like serious ones. fucking superb.

Have you seen his routine on Comedy Central? He uses some of the same stuff on the CD.

I'd definitely go with the Mitch Hedberg.
If you want something older, I'd recommend Steve Martin's "Let's Get Small."

Yeah, but it's still good. Any idea when his next CD is coming out? All I know is they were working on it, but they didn't say when it'd be done.
