New Asterix game parodying Mario,Lara etc.

Its been dubbed the first "Videogame parody" athough I'm sure I've seen tons of videogames parody other games through the years.The games parodied so far are:
Bomberman
Mario Bros.
Sonic the Hedgehog
Tetris
Soul Calibur
Splinter Cell
Bloodrayne
Rayman
Tomb Raider
Pac-Man

I don't think I'll ever play the game but it looks interesting just for the parodies.Does the parodies seem interesting to anyone else and is it a bad idea to base an entire game on parodies?

Well It's Asterix... they are pretty silly, so I think it suits their style.
