It seems like he has no place on Raw right now. I mean he can't go after Cena right now because it seems he's gonna feud with Jericho. Since HBK and Hogan are now enemies they will be busy. My guess is that he begins a feud with Kurt Angle with one going over as a face. Shelton Benjamin might also be a possibilty...

But Taker is still running around. When he kills the Legend of the Taker (pinning him on a big stage event instead of rkoing him and then going to rehab his shoulder) then we can add a checkmark
HHH probably figures taht if he's not around there will be a ratings drop, so when he comes back he can blame it all on Cena. Of course, that's not gonna happen.

He's working hard with creative to find a storyline that will kill Cena's momentum. I heard it might involve a dog and feces.....

Trips is coming up with a scheme to try and convince Mr. McMahon that Cena needs to have a heel turn and make Trips a face so he can have the title.

Ok, this is getting silly. Triple H isn't as manipulative as that! Once you all get over your apparent crippling fear of HHH and his politcal actions then you might be able to enjoy wrestling again.
Besides, Cena is being pushed to the moon. I don't even think HHH is as greedy as getting Vince to drop everything and make Cena heel just to appease his son-in-law.

Okay, let's recap, shall we?
Andrew "Test" Martin is on the verge of a massive babyface push, what with marrying Stephanie McMahon and sticking it to her father's Corporation in the process. During their courtship, Test gets big win over big win, culminating in a huge RAW segment where the wedding is set to take place. We find out that Stephanie has been drugged and forced to marry Triple H, who is the most over heel in the company at the time. So, naturally, the Test-Triple H feud is going to be huge! Test is going to break through to the main event! Only problem is... The feud never happened. Triple H gets a massive rub for being the asshole who married the boss' daughter, and Test languishes in the midcard. Now, this may not have been entirely H's fault, but you can't think he didn't have anything to do with it.
Rob Van Dam is the most over face in the company during what has the potential to be the biggest storyline in wrestling history: the InVasion. He tears down the house against Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, and in triple threat matches involving the World Champion, Steve Austin. His catchphrases, his hand gestures, his every move causes massive pops, and he's destined for the World Title, right? Nope. Sadly, his run at the top is short-lived, because the beginning of 2002 sees the return of the injured...Triple H! So, rather than letting RVD get his day in the sun as the top guy in the promotion (that many fans were beginning to see him as), he gets dropped right back into the uber-buried Hardcore division so that Triple H can win the Royal Rumble and take back "his" title from...
Chris Jericho. Where to begin? Hey, I guess the easiest example would be the infamous RAW title match, where Triple H cleanly jobs to Jericho. Or not. Jericho apparently picks up the win, but due to a heely switcheroo, H retains his title. Now, this is awesome! You've got the heel HHH against the face Y2J, who has all the momentum in the world as he - in the fans' eyes - is the rightful World Champion. The inevitable payoff for this is going to be huge! Jericho's title win is going to be low the roof off the joint. Only it never happens. Sure, some of that can be blamed on the excitement of the InVasion. Or the fact that Hunter got hurt.
The list goes on and on. Booker T (WrestleMania, anyone?), Kane (who, to be fair, has been held down by everybody), Brock Lesnar (Hey, congratulations on your Undisputed Title, but...we're going to let Hunter have a belt, too), et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
Every single time someone threatens to become "the top guy," they get busted down by Triple H. I'm honestly shocked as all hell that it didn't happen to Batista yet, but I don't exactly have high hopes for John Cena. Randy Orton got lucky that the crowd turned on him when he turned face. Eddie Guerrero got lucky that he was on the other show. Shawn Michaels got lucky in his choice of best friends.
So, here's hoping you'll forgive me my "apparent crippling fear."

Well Batista isn't a guy who HHH can be threatened by. I like Dancin Dave, but he is already 36 or so.

It really is scary when you sit and think about it in full like this. I'll breeze through these boards from time to time (over the last 4 years) and see nothing but people raking Hunter over the coals, and in my mind I felt like "Just watch and enjoy for once, he really isn't that bad."
In all honesty, he has to (or had to be) doing something right to be in the business for as long as he has (long before he nailed the boss's daughter).
Now, I look at it like you do and realize just how many people he has (single handedly or helped) hold down for so long. He needs to stick to one aspect and one alone.
You can't have your cake and eat it too.

But Batista's a friend and protege of HHH. You wouldn't expect him to be buried anymore than Michaels. Granted, HBK isn't a protege, but still.

Seriously, who cares? People spend literally years complaining about how Triple H's presence on Raw means that no one else will get any attention from the writers and now that it looks that he's off of TV for a while (this could also be a ruse; he could show up next week as the guy who made HBK evil; Trips is insidous that way) you're worried? concerned? puzzled?
Be glad he's gone and don't worry about what's next. Because I'm positive that when he comes back, World Title Reign #256,962 will be right behind.
