I really think that Cena/Edge rumour is crap. Right from Veneance it looked like Cena/Jericho and it still does right now. Personally I think we'll see the following card:

-Batista vs. Muhammad Hassan vs. Edge (added to the match with the MITB title shot)
-John Cena vs. Chris Jericho
-The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton
-Shawn Michaels vs. Hulk Hogan
-Chris Benoit vs. Brock Lesnar
-Triple H vs. The Big Show
-Gimmick Match: Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio
-Kurt Angle vs. Shelton Benjamin
-Christian vs. Booker T vs. William Regal vs. Doug Basham (don't ask why)
-Carlito vs. Danny Basham (or something like that)

That card is probably too big, but I think if they focused more on the matches, and kept the backstage skits to a minimum, the WWE would be able to do something with that. I doubt we will see Batista vs. Lesnar at Summerslam. Survivor Series maybe, but I cannot see it happened at Summerslam. Don't get me wrong, it probably will, but as far as the card I'd like to see happen, I'm more inclined to put the match on later in the year. Maybe even as late as WrestleMania 22.

Wasn't it Danny Basham that was Damaja in OVW? I think Doug Basham was Machine. I wonder if the WWE are going to do stuff with these guys, or they'll release them. :-\

My cards aren't usually accurate. I usually get into putting guys like William Regal and Val Venis on the card, and leave out some of the more obvious things.

A more accurate Summerslam card would probably be something like this:

John Cena vs. Chris Jericho

Grudge Match
Hulk Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels

World Heavyweight Championship
Batista vs. Brock Lesnar (I hope they don't rush it, though)

WWE United States Champioonship
Chris Benoit vs. JBL

Grudge Match
Kurt Angle vs. Shelton Benjamin

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Carlito vs. Rob Van Dam

Gimmick Match
Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio

John Cena will probably defend against Edge, only to retain and begin building up his half-a-year long program with Triple H.

Batista will probably defend against fucking JBL again until Brock Lesnar is brought into the mix.

Rey and Eddie will have their blow-off match, which will be as lackluster and pale in comparison to their WCW matches as the last five were.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Christian and Shelton Benjamin were left off the card completely to make room for a crappy Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Carlito or Hassan match.

That's what I'm thinking, but I doubt they will have Batista vs. JBL twice. I can easily see it being Batista vs. The Undertaker, perhaps with Randy Orton as the Special Guest Referee.

I hope they don't run with Batista vs. Lesnar this early, and save it until No Mercy or Survivor Series at the very earliest.
