I'm flying to Washington to see Pearl Jam at The Gorge at September 1st and I was curious to how the atmosphere and crap is there at The Gorge. I've heard that it's a beautiful place and there are a lot of memorable concerts to happen there. And I just wanted to see if anyone knows first hand about concerts at The Gooooooooooorrrr...ge.

Do you mean the gorge as in the Columbia gorge, or is there some concert hall called The Gorge that I am unaware of?

I wish I had the time and money to do such things.

This trip is costing me around $300 (airfare and tickets to the show).

And the good thing is I'm only going to be gone 2-3 days.

It was a stretch for me to go to Asheville to see them. I can't believe I actually ended up going there after first hearing about it.

Yeah it was stretching it for me driving 16 hours to see them in Grand Rapids and Toledo back in October, but I managed to.

What's great is that this concert will be strictly Pearl Jam with no opening bands or anything.
