I remember this show. Mostly because I was there.

Got a chance to go to the junkyard the day after the PPV and take some cool pictures there. I have a few items from the match itself as well. Too bad when you were at the PPV [or watching it at home for that matter] you really couldn't see much of the bout except for the explosion.

I remember watching the PPV on the TV version when I got home [as my family had been watching and taped it *waits to be captured by the FBI*] and how on the mic they were acting surprised to see Public Enemy returning in the junkyard match, yet inside the program they had them listed as being part of the match.

Anyhow, just thought I'd share that. BTW, for anyone who doesn't know, CG Afi is Tony Mamaluke. That was the match that landed both Mamaluke and Lopez [and I believe Noble] their contracts with WCW.

Mamaluke had a very short run in WCW before he went to ECW didn't he?

Yep.

Thus the name Mamaluke in ECW. From his team, The Mamalukes, in WCW.

In WCW he was first used as an obsessed fan on Nitro, and then became the son of a mafia leader who was owed money by Disco Inferno - and was given the name Tony Marinara. He managed The Mamalukes for a while, and then disappeared.

I remember a sick ass bump he took in ECW when he tried to moonsault on Mikey Whipwreck but crashed right onto the gaurdrail. I think I had/have it taped somewhere
