Probably because the last time that particular belt was used was in 1984 (with Tully Blanchard winning it and then using a different designed belt) and so the title belt just stayed with the last promotion to use it which was Crockett Promotions which was based in Virginia, South and North Carolina. Someone from Crockett promotions has probably been sitting on the title for 20 years and just decided to seel it to make a quick buck on eBay.
