Let me just say this. I took back bumps today, they are not as painful as they look/sound. It really doesn't hurt at all yet. I didn't do any front flips (hiptosses) yet so I don't know how that'll go, but doing a standard backbump doesn't really do any pain. Running against the ropes hurts the most. Actually, I didn't feel anything when I did the back bump. I felt a little smack, but no pain or anything. You're head might smack against the ground though, but if you keep it up you wont.
But today though, this time I learned how to do the hammer lock and two other basic hammerlock/wristlock manouvers that I can't think of. I'm a slow learner, and when I say slow, I mean slow, so I basically messed up like everytime. One thing that really pisses me off is that when you do an overheard arm lock, or wristlock, whatever the names are, you have to get your left arm in a weird position and your right in the same only opposit. It sucks cause its frusterating. Then ran against the ropes, which sucks. I don't really remember what caused me to blow up (become exhausted) but it sucks when you do. I mean you know that exercise you do at football, where you run in place really fast by keeping your feet moving? Had to do that when I was blown, freaking coulden't really do it. Then they tought 5 ways how to get out of the ring. The one I learned today was the baseball slide. And yeah, I fucked it up. The other guy though, the other student, was nailing everything, he must like it, didn't look tired.
One thing, if they say I hit my head, I should tell them. I told them I did cause I wanted a minute to rest, and they let me, I didn't really hit my head, but then I said I was ready, and I went to do a bump, and I really did hit my head that time, doesn't hurt, just a little woozy afterwards.
They taught alot today. Hopefully, someday I can do all of it without blowing up, its hard though, takes time. I kind of apologized to the guy I was training with cause I was getting impatient with myself, he knew and said don't worry cause it takes time and all that good stuff. Afterwards, this sucks, had to work today, and I was really tired. I called my boss wanting to come in at 5, cause I got home at 3 and I have to be there at 4, cause I wanted to take a nap and stuff. I wasn't in pain, I was just really tired. Like right now if I move my neck back and forth I just feel a little cramp. Not in pain or anything.
Got it again tommorow. Oh, and I saw written on the board, some Saturday from 10 AM to 5PM it says "Wrestling Camp w/ Charlie Haas" or something like that. I guess you go to wrestling camp with Charlie Haas. I don't know. I think that's next week or the week after.
