Let me just say this. I took back bumps today, they are not as painful as they look/sound. It really doesn't hurt at all yet. I didn't do any front flips (hiptosses) yet so I don't know how that'll go, but doing a standard backbump doesn't really do any pain. Running against the ropes hurts the most. Actually, I didn't feel anything when I did the back bump. I felt a little smack, but no pain or anything. You're head might smack against the ground though, but if you keep it up you wont.

But today though, this time I learned how to do the hammer lock and two other basic hammerlock/wristlock manouvers that I can't think of. I'm a slow learner, and when I say slow, I mean slow, so I basically messed up like everytime. One thing that really pisses me off is that when you do an overheard arm lock, or wristlock, whatever the names are, you have to get your left arm in a weird position and your right in the same only opposit. It sucks cause its frusterating. Then ran against the ropes, which sucks. I don't really remember what caused me to blow up (become exhausted) but it sucks when you do. I mean you know that exercise you do at football, where you run in place really fast by keeping your feet moving? Had to do that when I was blown, freaking coulden't really do it. Then they tought 5 ways how to get out of the ring. The one I learned today was the baseball slide. And yeah, I fucked it up. The other guy though, the other student, was nailing everything, he must like it, didn't look tired.

One thing, if they say I hit my head, I should tell them. I told them I did cause I wanted a minute to rest, and they let me, I didn't really hit my head, but then I said I was ready, and I went to do a bump, and I really did hit my head that time, doesn't hurt, just a little woozy afterwards.

They taught alot today. Hopefully, someday I can do all of it without blowing up, its hard though, takes time. I kind of apologized to the guy I was training with cause I was getting impatient with myself, he knew and said don't worry cause it takes time and all that good stuff. Afterwards, this sucks, had to work today, and I was really tired. I called my boss wanting to come in at 5, cause I got home at 3 and I have to be there at 4, cause I wanted to take a nap and stuff. I wasn't in pain, I was just really tired. Like right now if I move my neck back and forth I just feel a little cramp. Not in pain or anything.

Got it again tommorow. Oh, and I saw written on the board, some Saturday from 10 AM to 5PM it says "Wrestling Camp w/ Charlie Haas" or something like that. I guess you go to wrestling camp with Charlie Haas. I don't know. I think that's next week or the week after.

When going for a suicide dive, make sure your shoe-laces aren't tied together. :-\

Nah, that's great, Haas is one of the best, and I'm glad to hear that you're not in too much pain, Porky. I wouldn't have imagined the ropes being so painful. I mean I know they'd be awkward, but worse than a back-bump, I had no clue.

Good luck, man. I wish you the best in your training and job. :y:

yea, they probably are all careful now with people hitting there head because a while back at XPW, some kid took a powerbomb the wrong way and hit his head bad. He told them he wasn't feeling to good and they made him continue. Then later on, he threw up and passed out. He died later on.

Even if you feel like something isn't the slightest bit right with you, sit down, even if they say continue. Don't mess around with shit like that.

I thought you like messed up, got frustrated, and blew up and yelled at your trainer. That'd be messy.

But this sounds cool. Hard, grueling work, but it will be rewarding once you find success.

Just trek on it and don't give up. Especially if this is something you want to do, then give it your all.

I appreciate these neat updates you're giving. It gives a cool glimpse into the nature of the biz.

I did mess up, get frusterated, blow up, but I didn't yell at my trainer :)

I'm kind of in pain right now. Like yesterday I had to move my neck all the way to the right in order for it to feel something. Now if I just move my neck muscles it feels like I got a frog in them. My back is hurting a little bit now. I mean its just sore cause you're not used to it, but its more sore today than it was yesterday.

I don't really want to go in today. I was watching last Sunday and it doesn't look like they teach on Sunday; looks like its for people who are more advanced and just do matches, like its for the wrestlers. I heard someone mention yesterday that they'll go into the bumps more, but I don't know.

Porksoda is a whiney penis and he's too negative, and he doesn't seems to believe in himself too much. He'll never make it with an attitude like that. Shape up kid
