I don't rate his work by himself, some of it's ok, but he's gold when he gets with other rappers.

Definitely, Dave. His latest CD "Weapons of Mass Destruction" was kind of shit on by critics for seemingly no reason. Before I got that CD, I was kind of on the fence with Xzibit (I liked some of his earlier songs, which I will get to later), but that CD made me a fan. Very solid album. Sure, it has some stereotypical tracks on there, but tracks like "LAX" and "Cold World" really show a uniqueness about him. There was really only one song that I couldn't listen to on that CD (#11), other than that (oh and I'm not a fan of "Criminal Set" and I'd shove a pole up my ass if I heard "Hey Now" one more time), but everything else I can listen to. Oh, and "Klack" kicks ass, and the last track on there owns as well.

But enough about his latest CD. Before that, he had some kick-ass songs. Most notably, "Paparazzi". Such a classic song. "Been There, Done That" (or something like that) is a very good song, "X" is tight, and his guest appearance on the Wake-Up Show freestyle song "The Anthem" featuring Eminem, KRS-One, Tech N9ne, RZA, and Kool G Rap (among others) was solid as well. This guy doesn't get nearly the props he deserves.

Yes and it's entirely his fault.

I'm X to the Z and I'm bout to pimp your ride.

Seems like the man on Pimp My Ride, I think I've heard like one of his songs though.
