View Full Version : Triple H out another 2 to 3 months?

According to the Torch, Triple H wont be on television for yet another 2 or 3 months. Hunter has been off WWE television since his loss at last months WWE Vengeance pay-per-view against Batista in the Hell in a Cell. Despite not being on WWE television, he has been working dark matches on both RAW and Smackdown.
The plan is for Hunter to take a break from wrestling for personal reasons, as well as giving the chance to rest his body from the brutal schedules wrestlers face. He is still very healthy, and isn’t suffering from any problems health wise, which would require time off from the business – his break is his decision.
Despite not wrestling, he will be active backstage (behind the scenes) as he will be going through an orientation process at the WWE headquarters, learning about how the enterprise works outside of the travelling live event world. source Torch

I think Vince is in line for a fall :shifty: ...
Oh great, they're already grooming him for Vince's job.

I don't care, as long as he doesn't try to pull a Verne Gagne (World Title Reign in his '50s, Main event filled by the old timers, Eric Bischoff in any form of authority...)

First they'll teach him how to walk like Vince.
Vince:No, not like that, do it as if you have no knees."

And pull a really assininely constipated face.

And pull a really assininely constipated face.
Triple H can do that well enough now.

He's just doing this so that when he comes back, it seems like a major deal. He'll probably be face for a couple of weeks, then turn on Cena and win the WWE Title. Enjoy the next few months, because I'm sure he's gearing for another run on top here shortly.

he needs to do more like about six months off of TV, so people will kind of have him out of their minds, then start to advertise his return or whatever.
Maybe this could be good for him to get back into a popular eye, since it's just that people are sick of seeing him all the time. I would suggest a face turn for him in some form.

He should be champ by the year is over. Of course, beating Cena. He'll probably win it at Survivor Series.

All this means is that when Triple H finally returns we can expect something really bad to happen to turn his face pop into a heel heat once again...

This is what he should have done when he walked out against Batista. Instead of coming back two weeks later, he should have waited a month or so.
Anyhow, it'll be refreshing to not have him on, since it makes Jericho the top heel guy

of course I'm not counting Kurt Angle as the top heel, because Angle is GOD
Wouldn't it be interesting if they go the 'other' route and have Triple H return as a face and turn John Cena heel? Because once Cena loses the title, if he stays face, his popularity will most likely steadily decline.

Well, rather than complain, I'm just gonna enjoy his time off. If he comes back and the storylines start to suck again, we'll have proof. :D

I'd rather have Trips win at WM 22.

More than likely, that's true. I've been saying for a while I think Trips is going to end up running the day to day operations of the WWE.

Shane can't be happy about that.
PureHatred
07-20-2005, 08:26 PM
Why? Shane has spent the last few years doing more and more with corporate sponsorship and in developing/marketing the WWE brand. Basically, he will be the one doing all the business planning. he'll be the money guy. And Trips will be ni charge of the actual product.
Whether its a good idea or not, this has been coming for a few years now.

They've simply made HHH's backstage pull official.

Yeah he'll make us pay for being without him.
He is a huge mark for himself, I'll say that much. Though I'd probably be as well.

Oh so this is what happens when HHH puts someone over, he takes 2-3 months off so once he comes back(once we've forgotten about the 3 defeats in a row), he can remind us all of how tough he is and beat the crap out of everyone.
Oh well, atleast Cena's title reign wont get HHH'd.

Yep, i reckon he'll return at the rumble and win the rumble, and then WWE will be back in the shithole again.

uh, how do YOU know what Steph looks like downstairs, I sure as hell dont  But seriously what I was gonna say is have Jericho win the belt @ SSlam '05 or sometime shortly thereafter, then have Triple H come back as a face, and win the belt from Jericho who would still be heel at S Series, The R Rumble or WM 22...what do you guys all think of this idea...discuss freely.
