I couldn't give a fuck about cricket, but Australia or 'Straya is getting their arses kicked by the Poms at the moment I hear, so I want the Poms to hang shit on Y2C and other redneck cunts who reckon 'Straya is top shit in this shitty sport played by about 9 other countries in the world

Well, they are English which means it's time to sit back and watch the 'great sporting choke' eventuate over the next couple months <!--emo&-->http://www.arach.net.au/~credo/iB3_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif<!--endemo-->
Which will probably culminate in them getting about 19 in their first innings, with their batting lineup and all

Dunno it's kinda hard to concentrate when there are bombs going off again :-\
Still though yeah the top order collapsed, again  Having said that some people have been saying the pitch should've been looked at since 17 wickets in one day is pretty unbelievable for a test match.
Dunno, see what happens tomorrow. Could shore things up or could go badly badly wrong.
Props to Glen McGrath though.

They said the pitch was 'over-prepared' or something, that it looked more like a second or third-day wicket which would explain why so many wickets were taken on it.
Who was right about the top order collapse, by the way?

Good old English rain will save us
Quality moment about 5 minutes ago, where they went off for Rain, came back on with a little bit of light drizzle, and Hoggard starts walking really slowly, looking at the clouds then looking at the umpire, and so on and so forth.
Basically its same old same old from England, top order collapse and shit fielding, and then you find yourselves 250 behind with 3 wickets left.

Easy win for Australia in the end, we never beat them at Lords though. Should be good to see more passionate and partisan support from the other grounds.
Seems like a stupid idea having all those one day games beforehand too, some of the dismissalls were really needless considering there were plenty of days to go. Geraint Jones' today off the top of my head, caught when misjudging a slog.

They need to bump Pietersen up to number 4 and see if he can get a partnership with Vaughan and Trescothick going. If you've got either of them having a good match, scoring steadily as they can, with Pietersen backing up and slogging, then England have a chance. Sadly everytime he comes to the crease he has to deal with Flintoff forgetting that its not a one day game, Jones, who is just not good enough for the test side and then all the tail-enders. Ian Bell is a waste of a place. They should've picked Thorpe and Pietersen and bumped Flintoff down the order.
Simply enough, the openers just have to deal with McGrath and Lee, and then when Warne comes on, play defensive, if they get a few nicks to Gilchrist it won't matter, because Pietersen knows how to play him.
Its easy to jump on the Pietersen bandwagon, but at the end of the day, if he's out there playing with an experienced batsman, he wont have to worry about losing the strike, which is the reason everything was rounded up so quickly today. He can play spin, he can defend against pace, he just doesn't have the experience to lead others through an innings. Hence, he needs to be in at number 4, like Thorpe would've been.

I dunno, i can't disagree with the selection. Bell had two fine innings against Bangladesh and didn't warrant dropping, it may only be Bangladesh, but even so the opposition has to be beaten. It would have been nice if Thorpe hadn't retired though, we could've done with him for the 2nd test. We drop the experienced Thorpe and they keep the "past it" McGrath and Warne in and they destroy us, that's the way it goes i guess :(
Gilchrist isn't the best wicket keeper with the gloves either, but scores runs, so Jones is quite like him. I think he matched Gilchrist's score over the innings aswell. Chris Read seems to be the main contender but he was found wanting at Test level, Matt Prior wouldn't be a bad shout though.
Flintoff, Vaughan and Bell need to improve on their batting. He's a good captain but you can't carry people who have innings like Vaughan's been having, especially against Australia.

FUCK OFF! OUT!
I'd rather be a person who has bandwagon redneck friends, than being a dirty wog who is living in a country that he hates & hates all of the national & local sporting teams except for the ones who allign themselves with Greece.

I don't hate this country, however I hate a substantial amount of cunts living in it.
And no I support Australia but only in sports that I like. In fact if Greece played Australia in a football match I would be supporting Australia.

Only took them 5 games to do it. Plus I heard Newcastle was disallowed a goal for offside, even though it wasn't. Then again, being a dumb fuck, ignorant, redneck 'Strayan dickhead, you wouldn't know what an offside was even if it turned around and bit you on the arse.
So in sports you don't like, you barrack for whoever Australia is playing against. :wtf:

hahaha I actually was flicking through the channels & I saw that the victory were playing, so I thought "hahaha I'll watch some of it coz yianni will be pissed off if Melbourne wins." & also, it's funny that they actually show that league on television, unlike the NSL.

No. However I am actively against supporting Australia in cricket, tennis and rugby. The 'supporters' of those sports are THE biggest, racist, fucked up pieces of shit in this country. Not to mention the biggest bandwagoners of all time. I bet now if 'Straya keeps losing in the cricket NOBODY will bother rocking up to the games in Australia apart from a bunch of sad cunts in Bay 13 with nothing better to do with their lives but pay $20 or whatever to get inside the MCG then spend more money on ridiculous grog prices, and act like dickheads. Funnily enough, their actions at times are FAR worse than actions at soccer games yet gets conviniently covered up the media. Wonder why.
As for AwFuL, there's no opportunity to support a 'Strayan national side as nobody outside this place gives a shit about the sport  . And don't even bother mentioning the Gay-lick Rules, cos that ISN'T AwFuL. It's a mix between AwFuL and soccer.

AHAHAHAHAHA NSL was never shown on TV AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
PS crowd was 12-13k, a drop from the 18k sellout from the last home game. Had they lost the crowd woulda been less than 10k next time out
& nah, it was offside by a fucking mile. Shoulda been 2-0 but some black cunt fucked up a 1 on 1 shot with the keeper.
:D
Well the next home game will probably be more than 13k then, won't it?
& what the fuck nobody covers the crowd riots in Bay 13. What planet have you been living on in the past 10 years? There has been a shitload of times when they have cracked the shits over crowd behaviour at the cricket (and it had much more publicity than the soccer), and they even blamed us for a stoppage in play once WHICH WAS CAUSED BY THE INDIAN FANS.
As for your claims about racism in the Cricket/Tennis/Rugby, like always your comments are rediculiously stupid & based on nothing, so I'm not even going to discuss that. I'm sure no racism happens in soccer.
yianni
09-25-2005, 06:07 AM
Racism happens in soccer for sure but it is always highlighted and big efforts are made to stamp it out. The English lads can back me up on that one. As for Bay 13 Im not saying it isn't covered, but NO FUCKING WAY is it given as much publicity as soccer problems. If you honestly think that you have rocks in your head.
And for Victory, well done, they'll get over 10k to one more game...just a matter of time now before it slips to under 10k.

I didn't watch it because of my hatred for soccer or Victory, I watched it because of my hatred of you. :D Because of you I was actually barracking for the Victory to win. :D

In your top 100 soccer moments (which actually turned out to be more than 100 because you are an illiterate cunt), about 1/2 of them were of incidents that involved racism.
The only racism that I've seen at the cricket is everybody calling an MCG ground attendant "Osama" because he had a turbon on.
