Long announces JBL vs. Undertaker for later tonight with the winner being the number one contender to Batista's WWE World championship.

*Chris Benoit & Booker T defeated WWE United States champion Orlando Jordan & Christian when Benoit forced Jordan to tap out to the Crippler Crossface. Christian had the chance to save Jordan but instead walked out.

Dominic hops the railing and runs away through the crowd, with Rey chasing him. Eddie says that back when he and his wife were separated, he "got a sl** pregnant" with Dominic, and he "out of the goodness of his heart" allowed Rey and his wife to adopt him because they couldn't have children. Hulk Hogan was noted in the Philadelphia Inquirer story about washed up celebrities as a "Has Been' and ex pro wrestler. That's definitely not the kind of press he wanted.
----------
Bob Holly vs. Boogey Man is the scheduled house show match for shows later this month. Figures the new guy gets the tough treatment.

I feel bad for the people at that house show... and ha ha at Hogan.

So, Eddie is Rey's baby's daddy. Pretty much what we expected - although I was still banking on Eddie revealing that Rey Mysterio is in fact Elian Gonzalez, my hopes are dashed by the WWE creative team once again.

Batista vs. JBL at Summerslam? Great. As if their shitfest at GAB wasn't bad enough, now we have to experience the sequel. Maybe this is Vince's idea of giving Batista another chance to prove himself. McMahon must really be mad at Batista to not even book him for any TV time the night after the PPV.

With Christian walking out on Orlando it probably means they're going to turn one of them. Honestly, I hope it's Orlando. Christian is already being buried - the last thing he needs is to have his character reversed into a bland, comedy face.

With the shaving and all, will they start calling him Road Warrior Heidi? Time will only tell, but truthfully, I wouldn't mind Heidenreich and Animal becoming a regular tag team. Smackdown can use the help.

Sounds like a pretty shitty show. I might tune in for the last hour, if only to see the return of Randy Orton.

It looks like my Summerslam prediction is coming true.

OJ vs. Benoit vs. Booker vs. Christian for the U.S. Title.

Looks like that commercial I saw durring Raw yesterday was true. Christian Vs. OJ for the US Title. I hope it isn't Christian that's turning face here. And if he is, I hope he stays just as awesome. (Not that awesome heels ever become awesome faces. With the possible exception of Chris Jericho) And as long as Heidenreich continues with his arm pumping thing durring his entrance, all is well. As well as things will ever get with him at least. And it looks like JBL's on track to win the title at Summerslam. That's a good thing, in my opinion.

...is Animal trying to make Heidenreich to look like Hawk? :|, :$.

Velocity:

*WWE Cruiserweight champion Paul London defeated Nunzio. - Didn't they do this on Sunday? Oh, that's right, these are the only Cruisers WWE has left.

*Hardcore Holly defeated Simon Dean. - Love the fact that Dean's playing two characters.

Smackdown:

*Benoit forced Jordan to tap out to the Crippler Crossface. - About 2 days late isn't it?

*Backstage Road Warrior Animal told Heidenreich it was time for the "next step" and began shaving his hair into a mohawk. - You gotta be fucking kidding me!

*Eddie Guerrero came out and he reveals that he, not Rey is Dominic's father. - Never saw it coming. :shifty:

*Melina (with Jillian Hall) pinned Torrie Wilson (with Candice Michelle) with her feet on the ropes. - Snore.

*Backstage, The Mexicools are mistaken to be concession workers. - What? I thought they were concession workers. :shifty:

*William Regal vs. Scotty Too Hotty never took place. - Thank God! They would have probably put Scotty over.

*JBL pinned The Undertaker to become the number one contender. - Fucking fantastic. JBL/Batista II. Anybody got a gun?

Well lets see....

MNM has a match on Velocity.....well atleast they make an appearance on Smackdown. I was thinking they already lost the belts and now they are on Smackdown?...that sucks

From the early on Dark match it seems they are bringing in The Miz....I knew they wouldnt get rid of him after Tough Enough

Eddie is Dominics father????....enter the obvious sarcastic "wow...didnt see that coming" here

JBL Vs Batista 2.....WHY GOD WHY...Did we not learn from our mistakes the first go round. Why must we do this again. Great...now im gonna fall asleep during this match at Summerslam and end up missing the rest of the show. It would be Hassan Vs Batista if those assholes wouldnt of made WWE get rid of the character...bastards

RKO makes his return....great to seem him come back. Gonna be pulling for him now since hes a heel. Hates his face turn more than anything ever...well maybe not as much as I hated The Rock as a face.

Batista V.S. JBL II is a chance for them to improve from their mistake. Same with John Cena V.S. JBL II. Their first match sucked worse than Batista-JBL's. But from what I hear, their Judgement Day match was good. They'll probably make it a street fight or something.

Anyone else realize JBL has been in every main event for over 15 months now. Smackdown needs a change. Christian, I'm looking at you for this change.

Jaton

Their Judgment Day match was good only because they were able to mask their "talent" with weapons.

07-27-2005, 10:51 AM
Another JBL main event? We already saw Triple H and Batista three times, so we gonna see JBL and Batista three times? It makes sense to Vince, I mean Triple H and JBL both have 3 initials in their name, so yeah, why not do a triple threat series of matches between the two? :|

Eddie's secret...it was kind of obvious.

Eunos

Im getting Sick of JBL in the Main event.

he starting to get worse than Triple H

A triple threat would have helped a bit more, since JBL and Batista seem pretty crappy together alone.

*Backstage, The Mexicools are mistaken to be concession workers.
LOL

Also, who the bleep is Jillian Hall???

OK what the fuck. Dumbass WWE logic here, look carefully.

JBL gets a rematch even though he wasn't the fucking champ, he was no.1 contender

MNM were the champs yet they DON'T get a rematch but get chucked back to Velocity despite being the only real team on smackdown.

What the hell is wrong with the WWE uncreative team?

Gouda

Don't think Christian is turning face here. He's just doing his tweener thing.

He wants the US title (because as shown by his rabid chase after the IC title, he is obsessed with secondary titles), and so left OJ.

JBL gets the match because creative had it set for Hassan to get the shot at Summerslam. Last minute change = JBL. Really wasn't any other choice on Smackdown. Seeing as how Undertaker is programmed in with Orton, Eddie is with Rey, and Benoit's never getting a chance again (knowing how the WWE works). The only other thing that COULD have been done was to bring in Lesnar and have him take the shot. But that would only inflate his ego back up. First match back being a title shot can do that to a guy who has a swelled head.

As for MNM...you had to know this was coming. WWE loathes their tag teams. In about two months, MNM will have dissolved into a fued with eachother that will get dropped in three, never to be heard of again. Or it could just be they wanted to establish Animal and Heidenreich as more than a one shot team and didn't want to farm MNM out to them again right away. Who knows?

edit: Y'know, next week, Eddie's probably going to talk about who the mother is. Who do you think it'll be? Lita? Mae Young? Did Eddie hop aboard the Ho Train? Stephanie McMahon? Chyna? Katie Vick? Oh, the possibilities!
