WWE.com is reporting that Marty Janetty would be the special guest on Byte This tonight. The preview reads: "Be sure to tune in to hear him talk about his return to WWE earlier in the year, his release from the company and his recent arrest. Also, get Jannetty's comments on Shawn Michaels' match with Hulk Hogan at SummerSlam." For more, click here. (Thanks to Kris for also sending word)

Hmm I find this rather strange, why would they do this? I reckon a Raw match of Marty Vs HBK is on th cards, so Shawn can proove he's the old HBK. Bring back the Brutus Beefcake Barber shop interview segments!

That's what I was saying when I first heard about this. It doesn't make sense that you release the guy, and now bring him back to do Byte This and push the fact of asking him about Michaels / Hogan. Then again, this is WWE, so it'd be scarier if it actually did make any sense.

yea...quite weird to have a guy they hired...did nothing with...then released...and have basically the major point of his interview be asking about HBK Vs Hogan...

Unless its a work :shifty:

Really? Cause I heard Shannon Moore is calling in to talk to Kane Knight about the lewd phone calls he's been leaving on Shannon's answering machine. also he's going to set the record straight on his gender.

I love how a vast majority of the coverage on WWE.com centers around people not currently working with WWE... Brock, Marty, Nash, etc.

They interviewed Nash about Hogan/Michaels. He hasn't been under contract for a few years.
