I know the kliq basically liked to run the show backstage a few years ago, but who exactly did they effectively get de-pushed? The only one I know of for sure is Vader.

Wasn't Bam Bam Bigelow promised a push when he jobbed to Lawrence Taylor at Wrestlemania XI, but the push was stopped because of the Kliq? I'm not too sure on this but I definitely read it somewhere...

Wasn't Candido a victim? A guess but I can remember reading somehwere that he had problems with HHH, HBK, Hall and Nash.

Does HHH not like him?
Yes would be an understatement, from what I understand

How about other then just listing the wrestlers who were victims, some people gave insight into how/why the wrestlers were buried? I’m sure Vader was meant to win the WWF Championship at Summerslam 96, but Michaels pissed and moaned and eventually got his way. Anymore?

Barry Horowitz. The Kliq was the reason why he never got a title win!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Shawn Michaels and Triple H have a major hand in preventing Owen Hart reaching World Championship status? I was sure following IYH: D-Generation X, Owen Hart was headed for the title. Then again, it really looked like he was going to win back in 1994 with the whole Bret thing... Hmm…

Bret Hart anyone?
Nah, he was bigger than the Kliq. Vince had his hand in there. For some reason he was paranoid.

I think Shane Douglas might have you believe that he was a victim of the Kliq, but I think he just didn't get his fair shake in WWE because he fucking sucks.

Yeah, Shane had some serious beef with the Kliq. Lex Luger actually was noted to have termed them by that name. Some of them said it was through jealousy.

No, not just that, like when Shawn 'lost his smile' and didn't do the right thing and job the title back to Bret.

I find it hard to consider someone with 5 World Title reigns a serious victim of backstage politics.
But that could just be me.

I thought Vader was depushed because of an incident on a talk show in Europe or something, or maybe I'm completely wrong.

But yeah Shane really was victimized by the clique as far as Intercontinental Championship reigns go.

Dean Douglas had potential. He was a really good heel.
Just remember: it could have been Dean Douglas: Intercontinental Champion, had it not been for the "Manhattan Incident." (They forget to tell you that Douglas had bounced Micheals head off the steel steps the Raw before, the same match that featured Mabel and Yoko squashing 'Takers skull, giving us this pretty face...

Wow, that looks like a premonition of the Kane to come.
Chris Candido and Carl Oulette both definately lost their jobs due to the Clique. Bam Bam and Shane Douglas both quit due to them. Owen Hart had a mega push planned after "Montreal" canned due to Michaels and Hunter.
