I can't believe WCW thought they could make the West Texas Rednecks heels against Master P or whomever they feuded against when the company's heart was based in redneck south.

I loved when the fans started going nuts for the Rednecks at the shows and they actually got over to a point that if WCW didn't suddenly end the group, they could of drew some $$$$$.

The Rap is crap song was one of my fav. WCW moments of all-time. They became huge babyfaces after that

Didn't they come out with a second song after Rap is Crap? What was that called?

I thought the group ended because one of the members passed away.

I still can't get Curt Hennig singing "R-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap is crap! I-I-I hate rap! R-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaap is crap" out my head. Makes me laugh every time I think about it.

It was called Good Ole' Boys. Also a great song in my opinion.

Yeah the song got played on radio stations and actually that's the reason WCW ended the angle.

People wonder why WCW went under, this is just ONE of many reasons.

If "Rap is Crap" was a WWE theme and got radio play, WWE would be talking about how it was a "Big Hit" and how the song is sweeping the nation. To kill an angle because people like the song they are singing. Make them faces, have them fight the bad guys and start selling "West Texas Rednecks" T-shirt. Is Running a Wrestling Company THAT HARD?

Thank God the Original Freebirds (Hayes, Gordy, and Roberts) weren't debuting in WCW around at this time. The fans would cheer for them, despite being heels, and they would have been split up.
