View Full Version : Nominate Tag Teams for my upcomming 100 Tag Team elimination Tournament
Lara Emily

I did this last year with singles wrestlers so I figure I might as well do another one this year with tag teams like I promised I would back then (whoops). So I need your help getting the list up to 100. (might even go up to 128 to avoid the 3 way dances from last year, though I thought that made things interesting)
So nominate away, if you are interested anyway.
Here's the link to old tournament so you can see what this one might look like.
http://tpww.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14245&page=1
Feel free to nominate more than one team as well

Should you really bother with 100 tag teams? I mean it's obvious which teams it'll come down to: The Rockers, The Hart Foundation, The Hollywood Blondes, and possibly The Dudley Boyz. There's a few I'm missing but you get what I mean.

Alright, we should really only make this for all the National companies. TNA, WWWF/WWF/WWE, NWA/WCW, AWA, ECW and I think that's it. Smokey Mountain maybe. Lara's pick, but there's like a million teams we could probably list here if we did everyone. I'll do my top 100 real fast from the better known companies

You'd be surprised. Any of those teams could easily get knocked out in the first round by being paired with another team on that small list. It happened to Guerrero last time.

The Body Donnas (with Sunny)
The Godwins

The Dudley Boyz (D-Von and Bubba Ray)
Rob Van Dam and Sabu
Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart

I wouldn't pick any of those teams - I never liked any of them, despite how "smark" they are.
I would pick either Harlem Heat or perhaps the Steiners. Maybe Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart too. Or Hass/Benjamin (Team America). Or The Filthy Animals (Rey and Kidman).
