TPWW’s TNA Tournament – ROUND TWO
Match 1: A-1 vs. Abyss (The “Don’t worry, you still have time to make popcorn” Match)
Result: Abyss music cues and he does his taunt and walks to the ring, then Team Canada’s music hits and A-1 starts to make his entrance...he sees someone holding up a “Team Canada Sucks!” poster, and for some reason he takes intense offense to that as he runs out of the building crying. (17-0) Abyss
Match 2: Petey Williams vs. Bobby Roode (The “Team Canada vs. Team Canada” Match)
Result: After searching the parking lot for the now MIA A-1, Team Canada gets very worried for the health of their friend as A-1 is hypoglycemic and hasn’t eaten in a while. They agree to continue the search for their friend so Bobby Roode forfeits over to his Team Captain. (17-0) Petey Williams
Match 3: Shark Boy vs. Jerry Lynn (The “You look dumber then when I was Mr. JL” Match)
Result: Jerry Lynn looks very confused as Shark Boy spends 5 minutes hitting Lynn with the over sized The Hulk green boxing gloves. At one point Jerry Lynn even starts to laugh so hard that he falls down, as Shark Boy goes for the cover, Lynn simply reverses it and pins the boy from the deep blue. (15-2) Jerry Lynn
Match 4: Sean Waltman vs. Rhino (The “This isn’t the first time Sean has been close to a man beast” Match)
Result: Both men put up a strong fight, but about half way through the match Sean realizes that more people probably saw his terrible cameo on The Surreal Life then were actually watching this TNA event, he takes a deep sigh to compose his thoughts and think about the direction his life has gone right when he is hit with a GORE! (13-4) Rhino
Match 5: Christopher Daniels vs. Chris Sabin (The “Show-Stealing” Match)
Result: I am sorry, I wish I could tell you what happens in this match, but I had a slight heart attack from anticipation moments before the match started. (14-3) Christopher Daniels
Match 6: AJ Styles vs. Kip James (The “The One is the probably only one who will vote for Kip” Match)
Result: The oxygen from the arena is sucked dry as every single person collectively gasps to the discovery that The One wasn’t the only one who wanted Kip to win...he still lost though. (14-3) AJ Styles
Match 7: Elix Skipper vs. Raven (The “I couldn’t think of a fancy title for this one” Match)
Result: Elix Skipper makes his entrance and is showing off to the crowd when from out of no where Raven appears, spins him around, and delivers an Evenflow directly onto the NWA World Heavyweight Title. (16-1) Raven
Match 8: Alex Shelly vs. Sabu (The “Haha you played ‘Baby Bear’” Match)
Result: As this is the final match of the evening, TNA officials elect to make this match a No Disqualification Match. Both men make their arrivals and the match is underway. Alex Shelly does his best to keep one step ahead of Sabu, and both men take to the sky on numerous occasions, but it is because of Sabu’s hardcore past that he is able to oust Shelly with No DQ rules and win with an Arabian Facebuster through a table. (10-6) Sabu [By far the closest of this round]
