I was just at WWE.com and they list Simon Dean's finishing move as "The Simonizer". Have we actually seen this yet? B/c I'm pretty sure I would have noticed. But in case I was out...what the hell is it?

Belongs in Q & A.

But anyway, its the move where he lays on the floor and the other guy holds him down for 3 seconds to get the pinfall.

Sue me; nobody responds in Q and A.

Q&A is fucking pointless.

I know he's hit the Simoniser before, but fuck if I can remember., IT's been months since he's had a finsher.

I think I know what it is. It's actually pretty innovative. He gets the guy on the ground onto his stomach and then applies a mexican surfboard. Then he uses his foot on the guys back to drive the guys head into the mat.

Is it the kryptonite krunch?

I just had a flash back to Nova wearing black and blue PVC and hitting both Baldies with a modified DDT/Nech-breaker. It's just dawned on me again how sad this whole Simon Dean thing is.

Nobody on Heat gets a finisher.

Speaking of finishers, when is Carlito going to get one? WWE.com has it listed as 'Modified Swinging Neckbreaker', but I don't remember him using it, especially to finish a match.

I bet Simon Diamond is pissed.

He used the Overdrive (Which I think is the "modified swinging neckbreaker") A couple of times. But nobody's gonna remember because WHAT? He never uses it?

wasn't that a reverse brainbuster?

Nobody on Heat gets a finisher.Good thing he's on velocity then.....I saw him use it and thought it looked pretty cool.

It looks pretty cool. I can't really describe it, but it is sorta like a "snap Samoan drop" if there has ever been such a thing. He positions himself at the guy's side, then he flicks their legs out from under them, and drives them on the back of their head.

Something like that anyway. Watch Velocity this week *SPOILERS* he's in a match with a jobber this week, so I think we'll see him use the move to win the match (no, Nova does no job to jobbers).

London's finisher used to referred to on the site as "a modified 450 splash known as "The London Calling"." But I don't think I've seen it.

I can't really accurately describe the move either, because Nova/Dean does some moves that can't really be described. If anyone has played any of the SmackDown games after 3, theres a move called "Judgement slam", it's kind of like that, but it's really not.

Last time I seen this move, it was about a month ago on Velocity (As others have stated).

I also remember his surfboard stomp as well on Velocity.

But I can't see anything better than his fast paced matches in ECW. I remember a time where he hit Little Guido with three piledrivers and keeping his hands connected between each one so Guido couldn't escape.

If Simon Dean was to do the Kryptonite Crunch in the WWE, he could call it the "Calorie Crunch"..............

A modified 450 Splash?

Uh...yeah? As in...how is it modified?

Kane Knight
08-11-2005, 12:25 PM
Actually, I think the only modification is the title.

You know, kind of like the Masterlock being nothing but a full Nelson?

Chavo Classic
08-11-2005, 12:28 PM
Uh...yeah? As in...how is it modified?

It's a backwards 450. It starts like a moonsault but there's an extra revolution in there...
