Well, I finally got my Hardcore Homecomming DVD today and I wanted to give my opinion on the better show.
Both shows were GREAT. However, they both have flaws... The better matches are deffinatly on Hardcore Homecomming, there is some really ECW style action. However the crowd on One Night Stand was MUCH better, much louder and more interactive. One Night Stand felt like a reunion show. Hardcore Homecomming felt like and ECW PPV. I perfered Hardcore Homecomming, much more entertaining plus the bounus stuff on the DVD is great. My favorite match on ONS was Awesome/Tanaka and my favorite on Hardcore Homecomming was the No ropes barbed wire 3 way dance with Shane Douglas v.s Sabu v.s Terry Funk. Very very brutal old school ECW style match. However of course on ONS the production is better and everything is tighter. Also on Hardcore Homecomming, Justin Creadible and Jerry Lynn have a really good match. Do yourself a favor buy Hardcore Homecomming, support the cause get a really good show while you do it.
