When was the last time he was on WWE TV? I think it was that Divas Search 2004

Everytime RAW is in Cali, the mark in me thinks he'll show up unexpectedly. Instead we got Hulk Hogan

Show appreciation to The Rock right here. Post your most memorable Rock moments here.

And to the haters. I understand.

for me, the latest would have to be The Rock coming back to face Brock before Summerslam. And when he told Austin to get the F out was pretty sweet too.

I was away on vacation when he came back to make fun of Hulk Hogan in 2003. And I missed the X7 buildup too. Never taking avacation around Christmas time again :shifty:

When he won the World Title Survivor Series 98' Deadly Game...

The Naitch
08-07-2005, 12:25 AM
yeah that was sweet too. Watched the tape though :( , so I knew it was coming.

His feud with Mankind was good shit. Halftime Heat = TOO MUCH SALT! HELLO? SMACKDOWN HOTEL?

The Naitch

Thing is with Rocky is that he can still job clean and still look strong, unlike some other guys :y:

Volchok
08-07-2005, 12:26 AM
Yeah all the matchs with Mankind. They made a good pair when it came to facing each other..

I wish I hadn't recorded over that promo with Eddie Guererro after Vengeance. And when he told Triple H to get him a sandwhich

My fav Rock moments was when he slowly started to take over the Nation. He would start stealing the spolight from Farooq and acting like he was the leader. Then he gave the rest of the Nation gold watches and he gave Farooq a picture of himself. It was booked so well.

In fact, that should of been exactly how they should of booked Orton and HHH if Orton was to stay heel in Evolution. They had a blueprint right there :nono:

The Naitch

I wasnt a fan back then :(

The Naitch
08-07-2005, 12:31 AM
lol Don't worry Mark, The Rock will have the extra gold links if the watch don't fit

The Naitch
08-07-2005, 12:31 AM
IMO, Rock should've started a stable with Long, Mack, Jazz and one more black guy. Probably Superslim

Loose Cannon

I think the first time he actually did the eyebrow thing was when Farooq was cutting a promo in the ring on Rock. The rest of the Nation were behind Farooq and Rock was on the ramp. Rock then gives the eyebrow to the Nation and they attack Farooq. Good times.

Yeah, I remember that. I stole the KNOW YOUR ROLE video from my local video store.

But I do admit, sometimes I cringe at some of his shit. Especially when he plays the mega babyface

If The Rock came back full-time because the WWE offered him 800,000,000,000 plus a few ice-creams, it would be like the best day ever.

When he was around, I wasn't too much of a fan, but now he's gone, I realise how awesome he really was. Can you image the feuds?

The Rock vs. Kurt Angle, The Rock vs. Triple H, The Rock vs. Chris Jericho, The Rock vs. Eddie Guerrero, The Rock vs. Rey Mysterio, The Rock vs. The Undertaker, The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar, The Rock vs. Matt Hardy, The Rock vs. Edge, THE ROCK VS. CHRISTIAN!!!!!! The Rock vs. John Cena, The Rock vs. Batisa, The Rock vs. Randy Orton, The Rock vs. Kane, The Rock vs. Carlito, The Rock vs. Rob Van Dam, The Rock vs. Chris Benoit, The Rock vs. JBL, The Rock vs. Orlando Jordan, The Rock vs. William Regal, The Rock vs. The Mexicools, The Rock vs. The Heart Throbs, The Rock vs. The Hurricane, The Rock vs. TNT, The Rock vs. Ric Flair.

Most of those have been done, or wouldn't even be blockbusters, but they'd still be awesome. If only Dwayne Johnson could lend his DNA to medical science to create a clone so he can send it back to the WWE to continue his legacy.

Once in a while I do, but I'm glad that most of the "old guard" of the Attitude Era is out of the picture so that guys like Batista, Cena, Carlito, Shelton, etc. can get the necessary airtime to build up their characters.

I was just coming to the end of my markdom around Deadly Game and Vince turning on Mankind and allying himself with Rock dropped my jaw. Didn't see it coming at all. Right up there with "You so' out, Lex!" among the great heel swerves of my wrestling fandom.

If Rock was at every Wrestlemania that would suffice. A 3 month build up with 3 guys would be a plus. (Hogan, Austin, Goldberg) I thought he'd be on Pipers' Pit but I guess not. Hey we all have Cocky J and we all he's 10 times better, 10 times the worker that Rock was. Plus he's fucking Angelina Jolie in the butt

I truely believe that The Rock is what every Sports Entertainer in the world should be measured by. He was that damn good.

One of my most favorite Rocky moments was the promo he cut on Benoit and Kane on RAW, "Seeking Things and Finding Things."

Greatest Rock moments? The top three that come to mind immediately are:

1) The Rock pissing off the crowd in Toronto, 03/02/03
2) The Rock Promo for Armageddon 6 man HIAC, forget the date.
3) The Rock/Chris Jericho interview hyping for the #1 contendership, 10/30/00

Christian, but they keep jobbing him.

Why him? Yeah he's small, but he's so over and it doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Too bad he'll never get to the top though.

I loved his feud with the game in 2000 around backlash/judgment day.
And of course any promo he did was fucking amazing.

Take Road Dogg. Take X-pac. Take Billy Gunn. Roll em up in a ball and shove em directly up Triple's H's candy ass

Oh god, fanboy alert. That sounded cool at the time. Atleast he evolves. Unlike Triple H who devolves and his hair looks like shit every year. Plus dropping the F-Bomb doesn't hurt either.

One a my favorite Rock moments was during his feud with Billy Gunn when he makes fun of Billy praying to God. That nasal voice he put cracked me up.

Favorite Rock moments:

1. The Rock making fun of HHH on Raw, around the time Mankind got "fired" by the McMahon-Helmsley regime.

2. When fighting Stone Cold at Wrestlemania XV (and later, at Wrestlemania X8), when he did the People's Elbow, The Rock doing that middle-finger flipping taunt Austin did before his own elbow drop.

3. The Rock and Jericho teaming up to make fun of Stephanie and her new "bolstering" (the same night as the infamous "Silver Spoon motherfucker" line)

As a mainevent attraction, no, I don't miss him.

As a charismatic mic worker, yes, I do.

His cameo appearances are memorable beause they happen few and far between, and because they are awesomely awesome. I think the Rock (as a face) works best in small doses.

I miss him but I wouldn't say that I'd like him back full time. He's great in small doses...kinda like Hogan...but Hogan sucks so that's another post.

A bit of a personal favourite was when he was feuding with Austin after WM 15. Rock had Austin's smoking skull belt and he was waiting at the bridge. He was fishing and then Austin's car comes into the camera and the Rock says "Oh the Rock smells trash!". Cracked me up.

No one will ever come close to his talent

Favourite Rock line (To Y2J):

"You think you impress The Rock by fighting some jabroni down south named Juventud?"

Was anyone else bothered by the fact the Rock has ONLY been going to RAW for WWE apearences since Hollywood?
I like him on both but what happeded to ....
"This is the RocK's show...SMACKDOWN!" I mean it was named after him right?

When the Rock was special guest refereeing a match between Bulldog and Triple H and decides that hes not going to count the pinfall but he'd rather go and talk on the commentary.

"If the Rock doesnt feel like counting the Rocks not going to count"

Classic.

Oh dear god. If the highlight of Rocky's career was calling a fat bastard 'hermophodite' over and over again then Hollywood can keep him.
